Abstract: A web browser section makes, to a second web server section, a request for acquisition of operation screen data of an application program executed in an information processing device, when an instruction to activate the application program is received. The second web server section transmits the operation screen data of the application program to the web browser section in accordance with and in response to the request for acquisition. The displaying section displays an operation screen in accordance with the operation screen data obtained by the web browser section from the second web server section.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for interactions between print servers and mobile phones. One embodiment is a mobile phone comprising a memory, a transceiver, and a control unit. The memory is operable to store rules for interacting with printers, and the transceiver is operable to communicate with a wireless telecommunication network via radio frequency transmissions. The control unit is operable to receive a notification from a print server via the transceiver that indicates status information for a printer controlled by the print server, to determine actions available for the printer based on the stored rules and the status information, and to generate a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that displays interactive graphical elements selectable by a user to initiate the available actions for the printer.

Abstract: P recording heads are arranged a recording unit. The P recording heads are divided into N (groups in the sub-scanning direction. The N controllers respectively control the recording heads pertaining to corresponding groups. When it is determined that variable data straddles a boundary (M/S boundary line) of recording regions (a master recording region and a slave recording region) of the recording heads, which are controlled by different controllers, the feed quantity of the recording unit is adjusted to a feeding quantity such that the variable data do not straddle the M/S boundary line.
Abstract: A multifunction apparatus includes: a second storage section for storing display image data for displaying an image on the display section, the second storage section storing the display image data corresponding to the processing target image data; and an apparatus control section for generating location information indicating a location of the display image data. Further, in accordance with operation screen data including the location information, a web browser section obtains the display image data indicated by the location information from the second storage section and performs the display section to display an operation screen including an image indicated by the display image data.
Abstract: A multifunction peripheral includes: a second storage section which stores state image data for causing a display section to display an image indicative of a state of the multifunction peripheral; and a device control section which generates a URL indicative of a location of the state image data. A web browser section obtains the state image data indicated by the URL from the second storage section in accordance with operation screen data including the URL generated by the device control section, so as to cause an operation screen including a state image represented by the state image data to be displayed in the display section.
Abstract: An information processing apparatus comprises: a first storing unit which stores a job; a performing unit which performs the job stored in the first storing unit; an erasing unit which performs overwriting erasure of the job performed by the performing unit; a first recording unit which records first time information indicating a time when the performance of the job by the performing unit is completed, for each job; a second recording unit which records second time information indicating a time when the overwriting erasure of the job stored in the first storing unit is completed by the erasing unit; and a predicting unit which predicts, for each job, whether or not the erasure of the job was completed, based on the first time information and the second time information.
Abstract: Methods and systems for maintaining image quality are disclosed. A printing system and method is provided for maintaining image quality, comprising: initially establishing a plurality of image quality threshold standards; assigning an image quality threshold standard from the plurality of image quality threshold standards to an associated image job; comparing the assigned image quality threshold standard of each associated image job to a system check value; and, marking any image jobs having an assigned image quality threshold standard greater than the quality system check value.

Abstract: An image processing device includes: a process section; a generation section; and a supply section. The process section includes: an index value determination section; and an adjustment section. The index value determination section is configured to determine an index value for each of a plurality of target pixels included in edge image data. The adjustment section is configured not to adjust a pixel value of the target pixel in a first case where the density of the target pixel is determined to be relatively low based on the index value of the target pixel, and configured to adjust the pixel value of the target pixel so as to reduce the density of the target pixel in a second case where the density of the target pixel is determined to be relatively high based on the index value of the target pixel.
Abstract: When multiple face frames are displayed along with multiple faces, disturbance of stereoscopic effect of an observer having stereoscopic vision is prevented and in addition, visual weariness is suppressed. A stereoscopic photographed image composed of multiple photographed images respectively captured with multiple image pickup devices is input. Positions of faces in each of the photographed images are identified. Focusing states in the positions of faces based on in-focus positions and distance information on the positions of faces. Face frames indicating the positions of faces are blurred according to the focusing states in the positions of faces. A stereoscopic display image is generated from the generated face frames and the stereoscopic photographed image.
