  • Patent number: 11545153
Abstract: Provided is a device, a method that allow a remote terminal to perform a process on the basis of a local-terminal-side user utterance. There are a local terminal and a remote terminal. The local terminal performs a process of a semantic analysis of a user utterance input into the local terminal. On the basis of a result of the semantic analysis, the local terminal determines whether or not the user utterance is a request to the remote terminal for a process. Moreover, in a case where the user utterance is a request to the remote terminal for a process, the local terminal transmits the result of the semantic analysis by a semantic-analysis part to the remote terminal. The remote terminal receives the result of the semantic analysis of the local-terminal-side user utterance, and performs a process based on the received result of the semantic analysis of the local-terminal-side user utterance.

  • Patent number: 11538458
Abstract: Disclosed is an electronic apparatus capable of controlling voice recognition. The electronic apparatus increases a score of a category corresponding to a word included in user's utterance in a database when the instruction included in the user's utterance is present in the database. The electronic apparatus checks whether the score of the category corresponding to the word is equal to or greater than a preset value when the instruction is not present in the database. The electronic apparatus registers the instruction in the database so that the instruction is included in the category corresponding to the word when the score is equal to or greater than the preset value as the check result.

  • Patent number: 11514910
Abstract: A server is an interactive system that performs the interaction by performing a reverse question with respect to an input by the user and providing response content. An input acquisition unit and an answer generation unit constitute an interaction execution unit that repeatedly performs the interaction until a question sentence and an answer, which are the response content, satisfy a prescribed condition. Further, the stoppage determination execution unit performs control for stopping the interaction performed by the input acquisition unit and the answer generation unit based on the interaction state by the user or the other user. In a case where the interaction is stopped, the output unit provides the question sentence and the answer thereof at the time of stoppage to the communication terminal.

  • Patent number: 11501756
Abstract: A smart speaker system is used as an emergency notification system. The smart speaker has a loudspeaker, a microphone, a visual display, processing capability, and an emergency flasher in the same enclosure. The smart speaker is in communication with a network-connected server providing at least distribution of emergency notification messages to appropriate clients. The amount of audio processing shared between the smart speaker and the server may vary, depending on the requirements of the installation site. Once an emergency voice communication is detected in the microphone output, the system generates a confirmation message that is played over the loudspeaker. Upon detection of an appropriate voice response from the user, the system generates an emergency response message, sends it to the distribution network, and activates the visual display, loudspeaker, and emergency flasher. Noise cancellation circuitry prevents loudspeaker interference with microphone output.

  • Patent number: 11495229
Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for sending a first instruction for a device to output first content while the speech-processing device is in an ambient state during a first time period. First feedback data is received indicating that a first action associated with the first content was requested at a first time. A determination is made that the first time is during the first time period. Timing data related to a current time of the device is determined. Second content is determined based at least in part on the first action being requested during the first time period and the timing data. A second instruction is sent effective to cause the device to output second content while in the ambient state during a second time period.
