Abstract: A novel foldable display device or an electronic device using the same, e.g., a portable information processor or a portable communication information device, is provided. A foldable display device of which a display panel can be folded n times (n?1, and n is a natural number) at a curvature radius of greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than or equal to 100 mm is obtained. The display device can be miniaturized by being foldable. In addition, in the state where the flexible display panel is opened, display which is unbroken and continuous over a plurality of housings is possible. The plurality of housings can store a circuit, an electronic component, a battery and the like inside as appropriate, and the thickness of each housing can be small.

Abstract: A light emitting apparatus, a method of adjusting a light emission spectrum thereof, a backlight module and a liquid crystal display apparatus. The light emitting apparatus includes a light source and a color filter layer on a light exiting side of the light source. The color filter layer includes color filters of at least two colors arranged in an array, and the color filter layer is configured to have different transmissions to light of the at least two colors in white light emitted from the light source.
Abstract: A display module and a glue dispensing method thereof are provided. The display module includes a display panel and a backlight module, and a polarizer is disposed between the display panel and the backlight module. The display module includes a blind hole for under-screen camera lighting in a display area, and the display panel includes a light transmission region and a light non-transmission region which are disposed corresponding to the blind hole. An aperture of the polarizer corresponding to the blind hole is reduced and blackened at an edge, thereby omitting the first glue dispensing process in the blind hole of the conventional structures.
Abstract: A microscale gas breakdown device includes a first surface and a second surface. The first surface and the second surface define a gap distance. The device includes a perturbation on the first surface or the second surface. The perturbation is defined by a height value and a radius value. The device includes a current source or a voltage source configured to apply a current or a voltage across the first surface and the second surface. In response to the current or the voltage being applied, a resulting discharge travels along a first discharge path in response to being exposed to a high pressure and a second discharge path in response to being exposed to a low pressure.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel and a manufacturing method of a display module are provided. Cutting guide slots are formed on a transparent base of the liquid crystal display panel, and depths of the cutting guide slots are less than a thickness of the transparent base, which does not affect normal attachment of polarizers, so that after the polarizers are attached on the liquid crystal display panel, due to a presence of the cutting guide slots, strong laser energy is not required to realize cutting of the liquid crystal display panel, which improves cutting yield.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a chromaticity optimization method for a liquid crystal display and the liquid crystal display. Since there are different combinations between liquid crystal panels and backlight units, a cross-matching operation is conducted to get optimized results in matching pairs each made up of one of the liquid crystal panels and one of the backlight units, so that chromaticity coordinates (x, y) at a white point of each assembled liquid crystal display have a tolerance range of ±0.015. This effectively improves chromaticity errors of the assembled liquid crystal display and can be implemented in automated production.

Abstract: A lamp device applied to a vehicle may include a flow change generation device which accelerates an air flow in a space around a heat sink dissipating the heat due to the radiation of the light of a light source of an optical module to form the flow enhancing heat-dissipation efficiency of the heat sink, and generates the flow by the shake due to any one of an inertia force of a vehicle, a magnetic force, and a combination of the inertial force of the vehicle and the magnetic force, enhancing heat-dissipation efficiency by the heat dissipation using a change in the flow around a heat source together with the heat dissipation due to the heat sink.

Abstract: A wiring system for ground mounted lighting fixtures comprises a base of the lighting fixture that is located on top of the ground surface. The above-ground base includes a wiring box and construction of the base resists sprinkler water and rain from entering the wiring box. A connector device is mounted in the wiring box and has multiple ports for interconnecting the wires of the incoming power cable with wires of the outgoing power cable and interconnecting those wires with the wires of the power cable of the light source in the fixture. The connector device includes an internal circuit that provides a parallel connection of the light source cable with the incoming and outgoing power cables. Spring lever clamps are used to secure the various wires in the connector device ports and in connection with the internal circuit. The wiring box is thus integral with the light fixture.
Abstract: According to an aspect, a display device includes: a display panel configured to transmit light; and an illumination device provided on a rear surface side of the display panel. The illumination device includes a plurality of light sources configured to emit light, and a light guiding member that has translucency and is arranged between the light sources on the rear surface side of the display panel. The light guiding member has a plurality of holes each of which opens in a first direction intersecting with a rear surface of the display panel and in each of which a corresponding one of the light sources is disposed, and a light guiding portion surrounding the holes. A rear surface of the light guiding portion is provided with a first inclined surface inclined with respect to the first direction and a plane orthogonal to the first direction.

Abstract: An illumination system for a vehicle includes a light source to emit light along an optical path and into an environment. A lens is positioned along the optical path and configured to collimate the light to a light beam. An optical element, having a body comprising four sides and a reflective member within the body, is positioned along the optical path and configured to redirect the light beam. The optical element is configured to move around an optical element axis to change a direction the light beam is transmitted into the environment. The illumination system is configured to receive a target position within the environment and move the optical element to fixate the light beam onto the target position.
