Abstract: The invention provides an image recording apparatus comprising a recording unit in which at least two recording heads are disposed such that end portions of respective nozzle columns overlap each other in a recording medium conveying direction or such that the nozzle columns are located adjacent to each other at a predetermined interval, the image recording apparatus executing recording position recording medium width-direction moving processing for a detected deviation (lateral deviation amount) of a recording medium at both-lateral ends of the recording medium, image data distribution processing with a joint of the overlapping as a boundary, image-recording density-varying processing for the joint, and recording position recording medium conveying-direction moving processing in order to perform high quality image jointing processing, and an image recording method of the image recording apparatus.

Abstract: In a printer body 2 of a printer apparatus 1, a grid roller 4 for feeding a sheet of paper 10 and a press roller 8 are arranged. Grid roller 4 is formed to have a large diameter portion and a small diameter portion smaller in diameter than the large diameter portion. The sheet of paper 10 pressed by press roller 8 toward grid roller 4 comes to be fed by the large diameter portion. The small diameter portion is formed at a portion that corresponds to a corner portion of the sheet of paper 10. Grid roller 4 is formed of a metal pipe, a resin layer coated on the surface of the pipe, and ceramic particles applied to the resin layer. Thus, a printer apparatus, in which skew of even a dog-eared paper is corrected, is obtained.

Abstract: A Braille writing instrument has a housing which has a first end and a second end, extending in a first direction. Six plungers are positioned near the first end, arranged in a first column of three plungers and a second column of three plungers. The first and second columns are adjacent to one another to define three rows of plungers with each row having two plungers. Each plunger is movable in the first direction between a stored position and a write position. The instrument further has six styluses which are positioned near the second end, and are arranged in a first column of three styluses and a second column of three styluses. The first and second columns of styluses are adjacent to one another to define three rows of styluses with each row having two styluses. Each stylus is movable in the first direction between a retracted position and an extended position.

Abstract: A printing device includes a main body and a plurality of nozzle units on a lower portion of the main body, a plurality of accommodation grooves within the main body and configured to contain a printing material, and a plurality of slits in each nozzle unit and each slit connected to an accommodation groove, so as to coat the printing material onto a printing object. Since the printing device includes a plurality of nozzle units that can individually control the amount of printing material flowing out of the printing device, the amount of printing material can be easily controlled and regulated. A method of using the printing device includes coating a printing roll with the printing material.
