Abstract: An apparatus is provided for adjusting a vehicle seat having a movable support member. The apparatus includes a first frame member and a second frame member pivotably articulated to the first frame member. A backrest is desirably mounted on the second frame member. First and second driven gears are rotatably mounted on the first frame member. The apparatus further includes a first transmission system for pivoting the second frame member in relation to the first frame member to change the inclination of the second frame member and a second transmission system for changing the position of the movable support member in relation to the second frame member. The first transmission system is activated in response to rotation of the first driven gear and the second transmission system is activated in response to rotation of the second driven year.
Abstract: A heat-rest mounted at the upper edge of a seat back of a seat for a vehicle. The head-rest has stays in upright positions extending between upper and lower ends on upstanding brackets provided on both sides on the upper edge of the seat back frame, and a locking unit for locking the head-rest at desired height. Thus, the mounting strength of the head-rest can be reinforced while providing a good appearance without exposing the stays.

Abstract: A circularly configured rotatable element rotationally mounted for use in a drafting, drawing, tracing or light tabletops of generally rectangular or square configuration, a concave-convex annular interface disposed between the circular element and the adjacent portion of the tabletop and a series of 360.degree. sockets or apertures arranged along the interface for receiving a locking spring pin element therein. Also, indicia displaying 360.degree. markings may be disposed about peripheral portions of the circular element. A swivel assembly such as used in a lazy susan is used to support the rotatable element. In one embodiment, the circular element is constructed of transparent, translucent or similar material with a set of at least a pair of fluorescent lights mounted thereunder. In another embodiment, the rotatable element is in the form of an opaque, light impervious circular element.
Abstract: A table apparatus provided with a stacked array of upper and lower slides which are driven independently of each other, in which at least one slide surface of the lower slide is a slide guide shaft which is reciprocatively rotatable and which has a non-circular cross-section, and in which there are provided a rotation transmission mechanism disposed on the table of the lower slide and engaging with the slide guide shaft, said transmission mechanism being slidable axially of the slide guide shaft and rotatable along with said slide guide shaft, and an upper slide drive mechanism for sliding the upper slide in response to the rotation of said rotation transmission mechanism.
