Abstract: A grinding roll includes a core comprising an external surface, and at least one wear resistant article adapted for use as a working surface that is removably attached to the external surface of the core. The at least one wear resistant article comprises a metal matrix composite comprising a plurality of inorganic particles dispersed in a metal matrix material comprising one of a metal and a metal alloy, and a plurality of hard elements interspersed in the metal matrix composite. The wear resistance of the metal matrix composite is less than the wear resistance of the hard elements.

The separator assembly includes a tapered, perforated separator chamber that receives the mixture of soft material and hard material, in combination with a rotatable separator screw located within the separator chamber. Rotation of the separator screw functions to separate the soft material from the hard material and force the soft material through the perforations in the separator chamber. An adjustment arrangement enables the axial position of the separator screw to be adjusted within the separator chamber.
Abstract: A threaded sink flange assembly for a food waste disposer includes a threaded sink flange, a sink flange nut, an upper mounting flange and a retainer. The threaded sink flange has a tubular body portion that has an externally threaded portion and a plurality of radially outwardly projecting mounting ledges with gaps therebetween. The sink flange nut is internally threaded with threaded portions interspersed with gaps, there being at least a gap corresponding to each mounting ledge. The upper mounting flange is annular having a top ring with a plurality of radially inwardly extending mounting projections. The mounting projections are received on the mounting ledges when the upper mounting flange is assembled to the threaded sink flange. A plurality of flanges extend from a bottom of an outer wall of the upper mounting flange with each flange having a radially outwardly extending inclined mounting ramp.

Abstract: The invention solves the problem of obtainment of binding agent for mass of shape constriction elements, consisting of the fact, that preferably calcium sulfate, preferably calcium oxide, preferably zinc oxide, are initially mixed in mechanical mixer, and after thorough mixing, the obtained dry mass shall be subjected to the effects of ultrasonic stationary wave. Pressure locks are positioned at an inlet and discharge of the enclosure. The pressure locks allow transport of waste material into and out of the enclosure while maintaining a pressure differential between the interior and exterior of the enclosure.
