Abstract: The double action cleaning tool of the present invention includes a dynamic double action dual brush head and a handle. The dynamic double action dual brush head includes two brush heads rotatably attached to a brush head base, allowing the brush heads to independently rotate about the axis in which it is rotatably attached to the brush head base. A mechanical device capable of storing and releasing energy is connected between the two brush heads, which is rigidly attached to the brush head base. The double action cleaning tool stores energy in the form of potential energy in the mechanical energy storage device of the dynamic double action dual brush head during the sweeping stroke of the double action push broom. At the end of the sweeping stroke, the stored potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and rotates the dual brush, thereby providing an additional sweeping motion.

Abstract: A method for detecting entanglement of an object with a brush of a surface cleaning device includes collecting sensor readings indicative of an operational status of the brush of the surface cleaning device using at least one sensor, detecting entanglement of an object with the brush when a magnitude of the sensor readings exceeds a predetermined threshold for a predetermined amount of time using a motor controller of the brush, notifying a processor of the surface cleaning device of the detected entanglement using the motor controller, and actuating an action in response to the detected entanglement using the processor.
Abstract: A toothbrush including a chassis assembly, an output shaft configured to connect to a brush head and extending at least in part through a portion of the chassis assembly, a power train assembly operably connect to the output shaft, where the power train assembly oscillates the output shaft. The toothbrush also includes a fluid connector operably coupled to the chassis assembly and fluidly coupled to the output shaft via the power train assembly. The fluid connector rotates 360 degrees relative to the chassis assembly.
Abstract: A plumbing snake assembly includes a drill has a handle, a motor housing, a chuck is positioned on the motor housing and a drive unit is positioned within the motor housing. The motor housing has a cable aperture extending therethrough. A plurality of flexible shafts is provided and the flexible shafts can be coupled together to form a plumbing snake for pushing through a drain pipe. Each of the flexible shafts is insertable through the cable aperture in the drill such that the drive unit engages and subsequently rotates the flexible shafts when the drive unit is turned on. A cleaning head is removably attachable to a respective one of the flexible shafts thereby facilitating the cleaning head to be positioned on a leading end of the plumbing snake defined by the flexible shafts. In this way the cleaning head engages and removes a blockage in the drain pipe.
Abstract: Described is a robot (1) for cleaning swimming pools comprising a main body (2), a plurality of rotors (3), a control unit and means for cleaning the swimming pool. The main body (2) has at least one sealed containment space (4). The plurality of rotors (3) is configured for generating a hydrodynamic thrust designed for moving the robot inside an entire space of the swimming pool. The control unit inserted in the containment space (4) and is configured for modifying at least one respective operating parameter of each rotor (3) in such a way as to direct the hydrodynamic thrust.
Abstract: A pool cleaning system is provided. The system includes a pool pole. The system also includes an angled attachment device configured to connect to an end of the pool pole. The system additionally includes specialty tools structured to connect to an end of the angled attachment device. The angled attachment device is structured to connect to pool poles and to specialty devices in such a way to provide a plurality of angles to allow cleaning of pool surfaces and pool surface areas in an effective, efficient, and ergonomically friendly fashion for pool cleaning personnel.
