A first end of the arm unit is supported by the frame body for pivotal movement about a pivot axis that extends generally horizontally and transversely. A second end of the arm unit rotatably carries the wheel. The arm unit defines an inner cavity that has first and second inner surfaces spaced apart from each other. The arm unit has a reinforcement that extends between the first and second inner surfaces.

Abstract: In an electrical power steering apparatus, steering shaft reaction torque is estimated by a steering shaft reaction torque estimation unit, and a reference road reaction torque is estimated by a reference road reaction torque estimation unit. The estimated steering shaft reaction torque and the reference road reaction torque are weighted, and, in response, a target steering reaction torque is set by a target steering reaction torque generation unit, hysteresis width and slope of the target steering reaction torque are respectively adjusted, and steering feeling is thereby easily improved.
Abstract: An electric power steering device having a torque sensor for detecting torque by using a coil provided in an electromagnetic yoke. A terminal block projects to the radial outside and axial outside with respect to an axial line of a substantially cylindrical coil bobbin accommodated in the electromagnetic yoke by a predetermined offset amount and is provided in the coil bobbin. The terminal block has press-fitting holes for press-fitting and fixing connection pins for connecting the coil winding and a sensor circuit substrate, wherein the press-fitting holes have air-purging holes communicating with the outside.
Abstract: To provide an electrically driven power steering apparatus with a simple structure, which can prevent overloading of an electrical motor and a power transmission system, an absorbing member (121) is attached to a rack shaft (112), and is brought into contact with a rack housing face at a stroke end of the rack shaft (112). The absorbing member (121) at least partially has a material having a Young's modulus of 100 to 900 Mpa, and thus it is possible to effectively relieve an impact at the stroke end.

Abstract: A support for use with a two wheeled vehicle, such as a motorcycle, having a kickstand arm adapted to support the vehicle in a parked condition with the kickstand arm at ground level. The support has a much larger area than that of the free end of the kickstand, thereby avoiding embedding of the free end of the kickstand in the ground or pavement on which the motorcycle is parked. An adjustable length lanyard couples the support member to a selected part of the motorcycle, thereby facilitating retrieval of the support when its use no longer is necessary.
Abstract: An electric vehicle has a control unit having a decelerating control function of decelerating an electric motor disposed on a side of a vehicle body corresponding to a turning direction of the electric vehicle, and an accelerating control function of outputting an accelerating control signal for performing acceleration control to accelerate the electric motor when operation of the electric vehicle is switched from a first traveling mode to a second traveling mode. When the electric motor has a speed not exceeding a predetermined reference speed, the accelerating control function performs the acceleration control such that a level of the accelerating control signal is increased abruptly for a temporary time from the switching of the operation of the electric vehicle from the first traveling mode to the second traveling mode.
Abstract: A steering damper includes a steering damper body installed in a steering system of a vehicle, and having a fluid path therein, and a pressure control valve for controlling a damping force in the steering system, and provided in the fluid path, wherein the pressure control valve controls the damping force so that an increasing rate of the damping force with respect to a steering angular velocity when the steering angular velocity is large is lower than that when the steering angular velocity is small.

Abstract: A rear structure of a gaseous fuel vehicle in this invention includes right and left rear frame members, and a support frame mounted to the right and left rear frame members, on which support frame a gaseous fuel tank is mounted. Each of the right and left rear frame members is constituted by a curved member which includes a curved portion curving upward, and a front linear portion and a rear linear portion which are lower than the highest portion of the curved portion. The support frame is attached to the front linear portions and the rear linear portions. The front linear portions are attached to the rear end of a vehicle frame to provide a low floor in a passenger compartment. A load applied to the rear ends of the right and left rear frame members is dispersed into the right and left rear frame members and the support frame, and transmitted to the vehicle frame.

Abstract: The cycle accessory system for child strollers can convert an ordinary child stroller into a multi-child transport unit. The multi-child transport unit can have at least four modes. The first mode (referred to herein as the “child control” mode) allows the lead child to power and steer the multi-child transport unit. (Note: even in child control mode, an adult has the ability to at least keep the multi-child transport unit stationary.) The second mode (referred to herein as the “adult control” mode) removes the ability of the lead child to power or steer the multi-child transport unit and returns control to an adult to power and steer the multi-child transport unit. The third mode is a multi-child transport unit storage mode. And the fourth mode is a tricycle mode.

Abstract: The invention is a bicycle having adjustable orientation of the seat (6) and the pedals (4) with respect to the handle-bars (5). The bicycle comprising an x shaped frame comprised of a profile (31) and a rigid support member (32) that are rotatably connected to each other by a hollow pin (42). The rider of the bicycle can change the angle between the profile (31) and the rigid support member (32) to rotate about the hollow pin (42). The bicycle further comprises a seat (6), attached to the upper part of the rigid support member (32), a first toothed-wheel (33) attached to the frame (32) by means of a pin passing through the toothed-wheel (33) and the lower part of the rigid support member (32). The pin has a crank and pedal (4) attached to each of its ends. The bicycle also comprises a front gear and second toothed-wheel (7) attached to a pin that passes through the hollow pin (42) located between the seat (6) and the first toothed-wheel (33).
Abstract: A rider support assembly for a bicycle, motorcycle or other multi-wheeled vehicle that utilizes a harness to suspend the rider from a support frame that is attached to a ball-type mounting structure. The support harness includes straps or a sling that is secured to the rider's torso and/or legs. A base section of the support frame includes a connecting structure (e.g., a socket) that is movably connects to and supported by the mounting structure such that the support frame can be pivoted in any direction by the rider during operation. A flexible spine extends upward along the rider's back and is secured to the rider's upper body by the support harness. An optional mounting structure pivots relative to the vehicle to facilitate a relatively stiff spine that supports the rider when sitting upright or leaning back.

The hitch includes a shank adapted to be received within a conventional trailer hitch and a ballmount pivotally mounted on the shank. An adjustment bracket is carried by the shank and is adapted to attach a ballmount. The adjustment bracket defines cooperating pairs of first openings and cooperating pairs of second openings. The second openings are radially spaced apart about a first of the first openings. The first openings are radially spaced apart about a first of the second openings. The ballmount defines first and second openings for cooperatively receiving the first and second ballmount locking pins. The trailer is tilted up or down by moving the first and second ballmount locking pins up and down within the cooperating pairs of first and second openings.
