  • Patent number: 4805558
Abstract: An improved electric cow trainer having a plurality of training members, each associated with a separate animal stall, is described. The design of the present invention permits all of the training members to be simultaneously rotated between their operating position just above the backs of the cows when they are standing in the stall to a second, elevated position well above the heads of people working in the barn. In this second position, the training members are neither a nuisance or dangerous to those working in the barn.

  • Patent number: 4794881
Abstract: An inexpensive poultry watering system allows water to be supplied under very low pressure (e.g. a 2 inch head) to nipples or similar water dispensers, without the use of a regulator. Relatively high pressure water is fed into a float box, with a float valve assembly in the box valving the water as it flows into the float box, to establish a level of water in the box. An outlet opening from the box is connected to an elongated (e.g. 8 foot-10 foot) conduit which has the nipples, or other water dispensers, spaced along it. The conduit is suspended by conventional hangers, The float box needs no additional support, being connected to the conduit by a short pipe section and collar. A ballast/support pipe may be mounted above the conduit. The plastic float box has an anti-roost ridge at the apex of its top, and its bottom is sloped from the inlet toward the outlet.

  • Patent number: 4762087
Abstract: A dish-like receptacle is formed of pliable sheet material and has inner and outer layers forming the side wall of the receptacle and providing an inflatable air space there between to permit the receptacle to be erected. The receptacle also has a stabilizing member projecting from the base thereof which is also inflatable. When not in use the receptacle and its stabilizing member have air expressed therefrom and are collapsed to fit into a pouch. The pouch has a hook thereon adapted to be connected to a belt or collar of a carrier. There is also provided a fastener for detachably connecting the pouch to the receptacle when the latter is erected for use outside the pouch.

  • Patent number: 4738223
Abstract: Apparatus for training cutting horses and other performance horses. The apparatus includes an endless carrier for a simulated animal and a reversible, variable speed drive for the endless carrier. Accordingly, an operator can cause the simulated animal to move along the path traversed by the endless carrier in different directions and at different speeds, and the simulated animal can be started and stopped at will.
