Abstract: In an aspect of the invention, a computer-implemented method includes: receiving, by a computing device via computer network, a plurality of session data records indicating computer network browsing activity between a plurality of client devices and a merchant server hosting an online store; aggregating, by the computing device, a subset of the plurality of session data records for a single product, of a plurality of products, identified in the session data records and offered for purchase by the online store; extracting, by the computing device, features from the aggregated subset of session data records relating to customer demand for a the single product; modeling, by the computing device, customer demand for the single product based on the extracted features; optimizing, by the computing device, a price for the single product based on results of the modeling; and publishing, by the computing device, the optimized price.

Abstract: A method and device for analyzing customer traffic data at a merchant location are provided. The method may include transmitting pings within a coverage area of a wireless network provided by the merchant computer, receiving ping responses from one or more customer devices corresponding to one or more customers located within the coverage area of the wireless network provided by the merchant computer, extracting a unique device identifier from each received ping response over a period of time, each of the unique device identifiers identifying a different customer device that transmitted the ping response, estimating an amount of customer traffic at the merchant location, over the period of time, based on the unique device identifiers extracted during the period of time, and outputting an indication of the estimated amount of customer activity at the merchant location over the period of time.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer readable medium for automatically generating a job quotation based on a photo image of a completed jobsite. The photo image is analyzed by an online financial application to identify material items used in the completed jobsite. Associated supplemental material items and installation labor hour information are then looked up from a community data repository where other business users have previously contributed relevant information. Accordingly, a quotation to install a jobsite using the material items found in the completed jobsite is generated based on the photo image and information retrieved from the community data repository.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided to enable wide access to numerous different previously compiled forecast modeling. In some embodiments, a system is provided that enables wide access to forecasting, comprising: a forecast model database that maintains numerous different forecast models that when run produce resulting forecast data relevant to making business decisions; and a forecasting interface system configured to receive multiple different forecast requests for forecast request data, which comprises a forecast model index comprising identifiers of the numerous different predefined forecast models and for each of the numerous different forecast models relevance characteristics, wherein the forecasting interface system selects, for each received forecast request, a forecast model of the numerous different forecast models based on a relationship between the corresponding forecast request data and the relevance characteristics.
