  • Patent number: 11697203
Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a communicator comprising communication circuitry, a memory storing information on an artificial intelligence model, and a processor configured to: obtain a map generated based on sensing data obtained by an external electronic apparatus, simulate driving of the external electronic apparatus on the obtained map based on a plurality of parameter values and obtain driving result data for the plurality of parameter values, train the artificial intelligence model based on the plurality of parameter values and the obtained driving result data and obtain a plurality of parameter values related to driving of the external electronic apparatus, and control the communicator to transmit the plurality of obtained parameter values to the external electronic apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11684549
Abstract: A method of performing location teaching of a robotic arm includes maneuvering an end of arm tooling of a robotic arm to a predefined position of an interface object. The robotic arm is mounted within a mounting site of a mechanical mounting structure. The interface object is positioned on a sub-system of a medication dosing system that is mounted on the mechanical mounting structure. The interface object includes an alignment feature of a known size and shape. A sensor of the end of arm tooling is engaged with the interface object. An offset between the sensor and the interface object is determined based on an interaction between the sensor and the alignment feature. A position of the end of arm tooling is incremented with respect to the interface object along at least one axis. An actual position of the interface object is determined relative to the robotic arm.

  • Patent number: 11654573
Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to methods and systems for enabling human robot interaction by cognition sharing which includes gesture and audio. Conventional techniques that use the gestures and the speech, require extra hardware setup and are limited to navigation in structured outdoor driving environments. The present disclosure herein provides methods and systems that solves the technical problem of enabling the human robot interaction with a two-step approach by transferring the cognitive load from the human to the robot. An accurate shared perspective associated with the task is determined in the first step by computing relative frame transformations based on understanding of navigational gestures of the subject. Then, the shared perspective transformed to the robot in the field view of the robot. The transformed shared perspective is then given to a language grounding technique in the second step, to accurately determine a final goal associated with the task.

  • Patent number: 11638995
Abstract: A robotic system for presenting a payload within a workspace includes a pair of serial robots configured to connect to the payload, a parallel robot coupled to a distal end of one of the serial robots such that the parallel robot is disposed between the distal end and the payload, a sensor situated within a kinematic chain extending between the distal end and the payload, and a robot control system (RCS). The sensor outputs a sensor signal indicative of a measured property of the payload. The RCS includes a coordinated motion controller configured to control the serial robots, and a corrective motion controller configured to control the parallel robot. Parallel robot control occurs in response to the sensor signal concurrently with control of the serial robots in order to thereby modify the property of the payload in real-time.

  • Patent number: 11623351
Abstract: A bag-shaped actuator system includes: a bag-shaped actuator including an airtight bag member and flowable particulates filled in the bag member; a bag-member communication pipe configured to communicate with an inside of the bag member; a low-air-pressure-source communication pipe configured to communicate with a low air pressure source; a high-air-pressure-source communication pipe configured to communicate with a high air pressure source; a switching mechanism configured to perform switching between communication destinations of the bag member such that the inside of the bag member communicates with any of external air, the low-air-pressure-source communication pipe, and the high-air-pressure-source communication pipe via the bag-member communication pipe; and a switching controlling portion configured to control the switching between the communication destinations by the switching mechanism.
