Abstract: Systems and methods for manipulating dynamically rendered content are provided. At the outset, a first visual representation of backend data sources and a set of rules is generated. The first visual representation includes a structural overview of the backend data sources and the rules. A second visual representation of the backend data sources and the rules is also generated. The second visual representation includes an end-user rendering based on the backend data sources and the rules. A change to one of the backend data sources or rules is received within the first visual representation. Simultaneously, the change is rendered within the second visual representation.

Abstract: A method by which a mobile terminal provides transport service information, the method including transmitting information regarding a user and information regarding a transport service preferred by the user to a transport service managing server, for the user's use of the transport service; receiving information regarding transport service providing means corresponding to the information regarding the transport service preferred by the user, from the transport service managing server; and confirming the user's use of the transport service based on the information regarding the transport service providing means received from the transport service managing server and information acquired from the transport service providing means via a short-range wireless communication by the mobile terminal, when the transport service providing means is available for providing the transport service.

Abstract: A user-centric computer-implemented method and system for managing inputs and creating, modifying, importing, and sharing one or more user lifestyle preference profiles as input into a relevance assessment engine to determine a user's product or service preferences comprises a personalized recommendation software for assessing and aggregating lifestyle items via style dimension mapping of one or more computer-implemented algorithms to process image-associated metadata to create unique vector inputs, individualized lifestyle preference indices, and lifestyle preference outputs, associated with a plurality of correlated products, services and experiences. The recommendation system then directly matches each user to discrete relevant items without the need for management of historical data from other users.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes providing a user interface that allows selection of a product attribute and in the alternative allows selection of a previously defined rule. When a product attribute is selected in the user interface, a rule under construction that describes what products are to appear on a retail webpage is altered based on the selected product attribute. When a previously-defined rule is selected in the user interface, the rule under construction is modified so that the rule under construction uses the selected rule.

Abstract: A workflow management and online reverse auction system includes a non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program. The program causes a computer to execute steps of posting electronic part details for a part to be sourced to an online reverse auction site, and receiving electronic bids including prices for supplying the part to be sourced through the online reverse auction site from a plurality of suppliers. The program also causes the computer to execute steps of selecting a chosen supplier from the plurality of suppliers based on the electronic bids, and providing an option for the chosen supplier to extend an initial supplier agreement duration by accepting an additional supplier agreement term beneficial to a buyer.

Abstract: Methods and systems for roof estimations are disclosed, including a method comprising receiving, by at least one computer processor, a roof report order including a geographic location of a roof; providing imagery of the roof based on the geographic location of the roof; receiving, from a user, identification of features of the roof; determining and providing an estimated roofing area based at least on a predominant pitch and a footprint of the roof by analyzing one or more image showing the roof, the footprint of the roof determined at least in part using at least one image of the roof and the identified features of the roof; and generating a roof report for determination of an amount of materials needed for a construction project, wherein the roof report includes at least one image showing the roof and the estimated roofing area of the roof.

Abstract: A content delivery system for generating personalized content for a user. The system maintains an interest graph that shows the user's current attachment to one or more topics. When a user performs an action, a topic is determined for the action and the user's interest graph is modified based on the action. The system also receives content and analyzes the language of the content to determine a topic of the content. A similarity between the user's interests and the content is determined. The content is also analyzed to determine the popularity of the content. The user's interest level and the popularity of the content are then used to provide the user with a personalized content, such as a content recommendation or enhanced content.

Abstract: A design customization tool is integrated with an online visual and searchable design elements database and collaboration tool over a network. Design elements are defined as single or collective real and/or abstract instances of any product, pattern, attribute, or feature. Methods provide uploading a picture or draw a target design space in digital format to the server for dynamic modification, customization, and realistic and real-time rendition and virtual visualization of design elements placed within the context of the design space. Methods include building a library of design elements and design concepts database showcasing design elements which can be independently used in different target design spaces with realistic rendition.

Abstract: In the image processing apparatus, the image processing method, the program and the recording medium, the first product material selector selects the first product material from among the plurality of product materials in accordance with the instruction of the user. The second product material selector selects the second product material that is different from the first product material from among the plurality of product materials. The product creator creates the recommended product by applying the first image constituting at least part of the group of images to the second product material. Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for obtaining ratings using a rating service. A server computer executing a rating service can detect arrival of a user device at a vendor location. The server computer also can detect an interaction with a product offered at the vendor location by the user device. The server computer can determine that a rating for the product is to be requested, and can request the rating from the user device.

Abstract: A method is disclosed of generating a computer-based, multi-party dynamic bartering network. The method includes: receiving, at a computer server, user supply information and user demand information from multiple parties over a computer network; generating multi-party barter loop options, using one or more processors, in response to a search request by a searching user, by analyzing the user supply information and user demand information; proposing multi-party barter loop options to the searching user over the computer network; receiving confirmation of the searching user joining a multi-party barter loop from the proposed multi-party barter loop options; and facilitating execution of the multi-party barter loop.

Abstract: Methods for fulfilling and shipping customer orders include selecting a transformable shipping container. The particular transformable shipping container can be selected based on various attributes of the customer, including selections or preferences indicated by the customer. Transformable shipping containers can include outer packaging with varying combinations of transformation instructions, extra parts, delineated fold and cut lines, perforations, and other suitable demarcations for enabling a customer to readily convert the transformable shipping container into a useful item, accessory or toy.

Abstract: A user and a merchant register an account with a payment processing system and each receive a unique identifier. When the registered user enters a search query for a product, the search engine system locates a product that matches the search query and that is associated with a registered merchant. The search engine system then confirms that the user and the merchant are registered, and creates a unique product identifier for the product. After associating the unique product identifier with the product, the search engine presents the product to the user with a direct purchase option. If the user selects a direct purchase option, the search engine system communicates with the payment processing system and merchant system to facilitate and verify the purchase transaction. The merchant then provides the product to the user.

Abstract: A method of selling a product for charity in a communications network includes providing a website communicatively connected to the communications network, receiving an offer of the product for discount from a seller device, via the website over the communications network, receiving a request for the product from a charitable device, via the website over the communications network, receiving a purchase order for the product from a contributor device, via the website over the communications network, transacting purchase of the product for discount by the contributor device, via the website over the communications network, and scheduling supply of the product of the step of transacting purchase to the charitable device, via the website over the communications network.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with order fulfillment using overage tolerance to verify amounts of variable quantity items are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving, in a device, a customer order for an item. The customer order indicates at least an ordered amount of the item. The example method may also include determining a unit type of the item. The unit type defines whether the item is measured in discrete unitary quantities or is measured in variable quantities. The method may also include verifying that a picked amount of the item for the customer order is within an overage tolerance of the ordered amount when the unit type indicates variable quantities. The overage tolerance is an upper bound over the ordered amount that is permissible to satisfy the customer order.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for a Listing Engine that translates a first listing from a first language to a second language. The first listing includes an image(s) of a first item. The Listing Engine provides as input to an encoded neural network model a portion(s) of a translated first listing and a portions(s) of a second listing in the second language. The second listing includes an image(s) of a second item. The Listing Engine receives from the encoded neural network model a first feature vector for the translated first listing and a second feature vector for the second listing. The first and the second feature vectors both include at least one type of image signature feature and at least one type of listing text-based feature.

Abstract: Creating color swatches associated with a product based on capturing an image of the product applied to a model substrate is described. In an example, an image of a product on a color display mechanism may be accessed. At least a portion of the color display mechanism may include a model substrate that is substantially similar to an intended application substrate for the product. A color swatch corresponding to the product may be determined based at least in part on the image. An enhanced image may be generated based at least partly on the color swatch. The enhanced image may be an image depicting the product applied to the intended application substrate in an environment of use that is modified to include a color associated with the color swatch in a region of the image corresponding to the product.

Abstract: Recommendations for purchase are made based on customer behavior across multiple sessions. Correlations used for recommendations include: buy-to-buy (cross-session), view-to-view (same-session), view-to-buy (same-session), and abandon-to-buy (same-session) actions. A preview display allows a merchant to adjust recommendation algorithm weightings to achieve a desired result. A closed-loop system is provided with real-time feedback. The recommendations can be based on various segments of other users, including users of the same search engine.

Abstract: A method of administrating inmate privileges in a correctional facility using a computer kiosk is provided. The method includes accepting data and information corresponding to inmate privileges for an inmate population, the data and information including restrictions on the inmate privileges. The method also includes accepting requests for privileges by an inmate, applying the restrictions to the accepted requests, and visually presenting information to the inmate regarding accepted requests.
