Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for selectively enabling or disabling control rays in mixed-reality environments. In some instances, a mixed-reality display device presents a mixed-reality environment to a user which includes one or more holograms. The display device then detects a user gesture input associated with a user control (which may include a part of the user's body) during presentation of the mixed-reality environment. In response to detecting the user gesture, the display device selectively generates and displays a corresponding control ray as a hologram rendered by the display device extending away from the user control within the mixed-reality environment. Gestures may also be detected for selectively disabling control rays so that they are no longer rendered.

Abstract: A method for processing icons and a mobile terminal are provided. The method for processing icons includes: obtaining, in response to detecting a pinching operation by a user on multiple icons, attribute information about each of the multiple icons; and performing a classification operation on the multiple icons based on the attribute information.

Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for determining asset efficiency. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) may be used to obtain aerial images of locations, property or structures. The aerial images may be geo-rectified, and a ortho-mosaic, digital surface model, or a point cloud may be created. In the context of an operation where mobile assets are used, such as construction or earth moving equipment, location-based event information may be obtained. The system determines efficiency clusters for particular assets, and provides an exploration interface to present and navigate via the efficiency cluster.

Abstract: A notification builder implemented through a graphical user interface (“GUI”) provides a platform for building notifications and defining priorities for how the notifications will be presented to users of managed devices. Elements included in the notification builder and selectable as part of a build process can provide options for naming a notification, providing content for the notification, defining recipients, setting a respective priority, and creating action buttons. An action button can allow a user that has received a notification built with the notification builder to interact with the notification in a predetermined manner. The GUI can also provide data relating to the notification, such as success/failure, read/unread, etc.

Abstract: An input method for a virtual keyboard includes: in response to acquiring a click operation on the virtual keyboard, determining a click position of the click operation; determining a first probability that the click operation belongs to each key based on the click position and a current response region corresponding to each key in the virtual keyboard; determining a second probability that the click operation belongs to each key based on an input character sequence; and determining a target key corresponding to the click operation based on the first probability and the second probability for each key.

Abstract: Techniques for embedding a web browser in a graphical display view of a process plant include presenting a graphical display view including (i) indications of one or more process control elements, such as a control module, a function block, a process plant entity, or a process section of the process plant, and (ii) a web browser having web content from a source address. The web browser is presented according to one or several presentation parameters, such as such as a size and position of the web browser within the display view. Furthermore, the presentation parameters include restrictions on functions performed within the web browser, such as a sandbox or sandbox attributes. The presentation parameters also include a source whitelist that specifies web addresses which are allowed to be set as the source address for presenting web content.

Abstract: Methods and systems for enabling organization and control of dashboards, visualizations, and other saved data objects into spaces. An exemplary method includes, based on at least one role of a user, controlling the user's access to a default space and to other spaces of a plurality of spaces, such that the only spaces that the user can access are the default space and the one or more other spaces. Each space can contain a number of saved objects such as dashboards, visualizations, or other objects. The method can provide a graphical user interface for enabling the user to select, as a current space, the default space or one of the other spaces; and in response to the selection, automatically saving new objects generated by the user into the current space; wherein each of the spaces is configured to provide access to certain data objects only or access to certain applications only.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for displaying application storage space and a terminal, so as to enable a user to intuitively learn a use state of application storage space, so that the storage space can be cleaned in time to ensure normal and efficient running of a terminal. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: first displaying, by a terminal, a first icon on a desktop in first display mode; and when determining that storage space used by a first application corresponding to the first icon is greater than a preset storage threshold, displaying, by the terminal, the first icon in preset display mode that is different from the first display mode.

Abstract: In some implementations, a user may zoom in on a particular asset to show an all assets view that displays larger assets in a grid, and zoom out to show multiple smaller assets in another grid at different zoom levels while maintaining focus on the particular asset. Particularly, a GUI may display cells of a grid at a first zoom level, receive zoom input to transition to a second zoom level, and display cells of a different size in a second grid while maintaining focus on and positioning of the particular asset across the zoom levels.

Abstract: A unified digital image selection system is described for selection and editing of both vector and raster graphics together. In one example, a first user input is received that selects a region of a digital image. In response to the first user input, a vector selection representation is generated of at least a portion of a vector graphic included in the selected region. A raster selection representation is also generated of at least a portion of a raster graphic included in the selected region in response to the first user input. A second user input is also received specifying a digital image editing operation. In response to the second user input, both the vector selection representation and the raster selection representation using the digital editing operation. The digital image is then displayed as having the edited vector selection representation and the edited raster selection representation.

Abstract: A computing device can receive at least a first post in association with a first account, a second post in association with the first account, the second post being associated with the first post, a third post in association with a second account, the third post being associated with the first post, a fourth post in association with the second account, the fourth post being associated with the first post, and a fifth post in association with a third account, the fifth post being associated with the first post, determine that the first account and the second account are most relevant to a conversation, and based on determining that the first account and the second account are most relevant to the conversation, present the first post, the second post, the third post, and the fourth post without presenting the fifth post.

Abstract: A method for editing and updating content of a collaborative document within a preview user interface is provided. The method includes a content management platform receives a request for a file stored which is stored in a third-party application format. The system causes a rendered graphical image of the file to be presented within a preview user interface. The rendered graphical image of the file represents a view of the file as if opened within a third-party application. The system receives from the preview user interface, content associated with a portion of the file. The system generates a new version of the file that includes the content associated with the portion of the file.

Abstract: A computing system includes a virtualization server that runs virtual machine sessions and provides a hosted application with user interface (UI) elements having an ordered hierarchy of graphical control elements when sequenced therethrough. A client computing device accesses the hosted application and receives the ordered hierarchy of graphical control elements and displays the graphical control elements as local virtual UI elements, applies user input to one of the graphical control elements in focus, generates a local virtual UI element graphics overlay for display corresponding to a predicted response to the user input as a next graphical control element in the ordered hierarchy and sends the user input to the virtualization server.

Abstract: A computing system includes a virtualization server that runs virtual machine sessions and provides a hosted application having user interface (UI) elements. A client computing device receives the UI elements and displays the UI elements as local virtual UI elements, applies user input to one of the local virtual UI elements in focus, generates a local virtual UI element graphics overlay corresponding to a predicted response to the user input and sends the user input to the virtualization server, which generates an updated UI element graphics corresponding to an actual response to the user input. The client computing device replaces at least a portion of the local virtual UI element graphics overlay corresponding to the predicted response with the received updated UI element graphics.

Abstract: A computing system includes a virtualization server that runs virtual machine sessions and provides a hosted application with user interface (UI) elements having scrollable content. A client computing device accesses the hosted application during one of the virtual machine sessions and receives the scrollable content. The client computing device displays at least a portion of the scrollable content as local virtual UI elements, applies user input to scroll the portion of the scrollable content in focus, caches scrollable content that is positioned adjacent the portion of the scrollable content being scrolled that is not in focus, and generates a local virtual UI element graphics overlay that includes at least a portion of the cached scrollable content for display corresponding to a predicted response to the user input.

Abstract: A computer-implemented database system for storing data relating to a series of events may include a memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform a process. The process may include receiving data relating to a first return request initiated by a first customer via a first user device, and creating a first data structure for the first return request into a first database. The process may also include create a first event for the first return request, and storing the first event in the first data structure. The process may further include receiving data relating to an update associated with the first return request, creating a second event for the update, and inserting the second event into the first data structure.

Abstract: Online conference collaboration techniques and systems are described in which a plurality of client devices may be leveraged by a single user to participate as part of an online conference. In one example, a user input is received that is initiated as part of the online conference by a first client device. The user input identifies a portion of a plurality of portions of a user interface that support user participation as part of the online conference by the first client device and a second client device that is to output the identified portion. In response, the second client device is caused to join the online conference and caused to display the identified portion of the user interface.

Abstract: A data processing method includes a step of obtaining scores of time-series data by comparing the time-series data with reference data in order to process time-series data acquired in a substrate processing apparatus having one or more processing units, a step of classifying the scores into a plurality of levels, and a step of displaying an evaluation result screen including a graph showing an occurrence rate of each level of the scores, the number of occurrences of each level, and a graph showing temporal change in the number of occurrences of a worst level of the scores when substrates have been processed through a predetermined method with respect to the processing units. Accordingly, a data processing method through which a state of the substrate processing apparatus can be easily ascertained is provided.

Abstract: Example methods and systems are directed to multitenancy using an overlay file system. Each tenant has one or more users and a tenant layer in the overlay file system. Each user has a user layer in the overlay file system. The overlay file system provides a logical file system to each user based on the user layer, the tenant layer, and a strategy comprising a set of application layers. A first user shares a file with other users of the same tenant by moving the file from the first user's user layer to the tenant layer. After the file is moved, all users of the tenant have access to the file. The moving of the file is achieved by modifying metadata for the file.

Abstract: A unified document retention management system exposes a retention policy management portal to enable a user to selectively prescribe a unified retention policy to multiple productivity platforms to deploy the unified retention policy across the user selected productivity platforms. Data retention rules of the unified retention policy may define actions to be performed with respect to files that satisfy certain predefined conditions. An exemplary data retention rule prescribes a retention age threshold to files that have been tagged with a particular label. Files may be manually labeled by users and/or may be automatically labeled by the system in accordance with one or more smart label rules. The retention age threshold may be enforced for such tagged files by preventing the files from being deleted and/or modified prior to them reaching the retention age threshold. Then the files may automatically be purged from system storage upon reaching the retention age threshold.
