  • Patent number: 9619769
Abstract: Embodiments leverage capabilities of an in-memory database to manage measurement and modeling of Operational Leading Indicators (OLIs). An OLI template may comprise four model components: ratio calculation; factor calculation; predictive modeling; and cost estimation. Each model component is motivated and explained in terms of information sources, and analytical or statistical modelling tasks used in its definition. Embodiments combine analytical and statistical modelling utilizing in-memory computing, to process large amounts of unmodified source data, calculate cost measures rapidly without preaggregation, and/or run linear regression models on the same data set and in the same memory space without a need for separate hardware. An engine in communication with the in-memory database that comprises a large volume of available data, is configured to receive values for OLI factors as inputs.

  • Patent number: 9619766
Abstract: A method and system is provided to manage and track changes in enterprise architectures. The invention provides a hierarchical visual management tool to manage and update relational information within an enterprise in a controlled fashion. The relationship may be maintained in a database and displayed via graphical user interface. Enterprise assets are categorized into such categories as goals, customer values or requirements, capabilities, resources, and the like. A hierarchy is constructed so that relationships between these various categories are identified and captured using the invention. Weights may be assigned to each element of the categories so that any proposed change to an enterprise architecture may be viewed so that a value can be ascertained and compared between other values of other proposed changes. In this manner, tracking and management of evolutionary changes to an architecture may be accomplished using relational information.

  • Patent number: 9613324
Abstract: Methods, apparatus and computer program products decompose a service process into service process operations; filter the service operations based on at least one pre-determined criterion; identify at least one different service process operation to be used to replace an existing service process operation; and replace the existing service process operation with the at least one different service process operation. The service process can be decomposed using specific service features derived from reference service processes. The pre-determined criterion used to filter the service operations can constitute a service level; a service category; or a service process feature. A service process feature describes core functionality of the service.

  • Patent number: 9607274
Abstract: An enterprise value assessment tool includes a feedback engine executed by a computer processor. The feedback engine is implemented as a workbook having a tree structure of weighted nodes configured to generate scores according to user inputs regarding an enterprise respective of market drivers and operational drivers. A threshold engine executed by the computer processor uses the scores to calculate an asset rating and an enterprise value. An output engine executed by the computer processor displays contents of the workbook according to user selections, supplies the user inputs to the feedback engine, and generates one or more reports, including an enterprise value report containing the asset rating and the enterprise value.
