  • Patent number: 11972357
Abstract: A method is provided for an application program interface (API) to interface with an ontology store storing a plurality of modifiable ontology models having associated dynamic definitions associated that define classes of the associated ontology model and relationships between the respective classes and that is modifiable over time. The method includes receiving from a requesting entity a request that specifies an ontology model and one or more parameters defining attributes of an instantiated ontology object, accessing the ontology store, identifying an ontology model in the ontology store that corresponds to the ontology model specified, and manipulating the identified ontology model based on its one or more parameters.

  • Patent number: 11947524
Abstract: A transaction processing method and apparatus, a computer device, and a storage medium, improve transaction processing efficiency. When read and write operations of a target transaction are executed, a concurrent transaction of a target transaction can be obtained and used to determine whether a data anomaly exists based on read-write sets of the concurrent transaction and the target transaction. The read-write sets of the concurrent transaction and the target transaction can be merged to commit the target transaction. In this way, various data anomalies can be comprehensively detected, and data state consistency is ensured. The transaction processing method does not rely completely on locking technology nor on dependency graph technology, thereby preventing system concurrency from being limited, improving querying speed and modification speed of data, and improving transaction processing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11928106
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for automatically documenting queries and dynamically populating interactive graphical user interfaces with query recommendations. A computing system receives an initial query from an interactive graphical user interface and asynchronously parses the query for strings matching predetermined phrases. In response to determining that the initial query recites strings matching the predetermined phrases, the system extracts metadata and identifies a table name in the initial query, and modifies a table data in key-value data structure corresponding to the table. Subsequent queries related to the initial query cause the system to asynchronously populate the graphical user interface with query recommendations related to the initial query.

  • Patent number: 11762820
Abstract: Techniques and solutions are described for converting data models between formats, such as between a conceptual data model and a physical data model for a database system, or between a conceptual data model and artefacts to be implemented in the database system. The conceptual data model is annotated with annotations that allow the physical data model or database artefacts to be automatically generated from the conceptual data model. The annotations can reflect relationships between entity types in the physical data model, such as inheritance relationships, header/item relationships, or one-to-one cardinality relationships. Annotations can also indicate attributes that should be added to entity types in the conceptual data model, such as attributes for versioning or data governance, that may not be used in the conceptual data model. Annotations can be used to determine how entity types in the conceptual data model will be denormalized in the physical data model.

  • Patent number: 11748313
Abstract: Optimizing file system resource reservation is presented herein. The method comprises dividing a virtual file system address space into subspaces, initializing the subspaces with volume slices of a group of volume slices comprising a first volume slice, a second volume slice, and a collection of reserved volume slices allocated based on an allocation pattern that allocates volume slices as a function of a quantitative relationship between a first value associated with a first volume slice and a second value associated with a second volume slice, determining that a data block count is insufficient to service a write operation of user data to the second volume slice; and provisioning a second subspace with a free volume slice obtained from the collection of reserved volume slices, and wherein the provisioning of the second subspace with the free volume slice is performed without invoking a memory exclusion mechanism.
