  • Patent number: 12282363
Abstract: A portable information handling system supports a flexible OLED display film over housing portions rotationally coupled by a hinge by folding the OLED display film over the hinge. Hinge brackets that couple to the housing portions each have a helical member that extends into an associated helical guide of the hinge main body. Hinge bracket rotation translates through the helical guides for synchronized housing rotation. The hinge main body has first and second circular portions extending along its length to define first and second rotation axes about which the hinge brackets pivot so that the display film has space to fold in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 12194581
Abstract: A split bushing alignment assembly comprising an air tube and a mount having one or more vents leading to a bushing receiver disposed as a hole sized and shaped to receive a split bushing. A stream of air from an air supply, typically compressed air, enters the tube and exits the vent into the bushing receiver. When a split bushing having a gap falls into the bushing receiver, the stream of air rotates the split bushing if the gap is in a same location as the stream of air from the vent. The gap of the split bushing is thus rotated by the stream of air such that when the split bushing is installed, the gap is not located in a known inspection area of a bushing inspection machine. A method of use is also provided.

  • Patent number: 12179256
Abstract: An assembly system with a sealant application station and an assembly tool is described. The assembly system is used to connect two or more components to each other. The sealant application station applies a sealant to a connector. The sealant application station is arranged in a feed system for the connectors. The sealant-applied connectors are transferred to the assembly tool. The assembly tool contains a drill spindle in which a connector and a drill can be axially aligned with each other so that the drill spindle can both drill a hole in the components to be connected and position the connector in the drilled hole with a linear movement along a processing axis. For these operations, the drill spindle moves only along the processing axis, so that a linear drive can be used for these operations.

  • Patent number: 12161489
Abstract: A method for mounting a tool to a surgical device using a packaging body. A proximal section of the packaging body is articulated about a second boundary relative to a first distal section of the packaging body for removing a proximal end of the tool from a proximal cavity for exposing the proximal end. The proximal end is mounted to the surgical device while a distal end of the tool remains securely retained by first and second distal sections of the packaging body within a distal cavity. After mounting, the distal end is released from the distal cavity by articulating one distal section relative to the other distal section for exposing a first portion of the distal end that was retained by the one distal section. Thereafter, the other distal section is removed for exposing a remaining portion of the distal end that was retained by the other distal section.
