Abstract: A motion control and lock mechanism for wooden furniture such as a climbing triangle is provided. The lock mechanism provides secure stop against further motion and holds the furniture in the open or closed position. The lock mechanism is easily fabricated with a CNC router while cutting plywood furniture panels.

Abstract: A connector pin includes a stem extending between a head and an opposite foot. The stem includes a neck having a plurality of sections which may be planar forming edges. A retention member including a collar and arms extending therefrom is retained around said pin, the inner surface of the collar correspondingly configured to the sections and edges of the neck for a frictional fit. The pin is insertable and retained within a receiver in overlapping mats. Pockets in the receiver hold the retention member arms and prevent rotational motion of the retention member. The pin is selectively movable relative to the retention member by rotational motion by application of force to the pin sufficient to overcome the threshold level of friction holding the sections of the neck at the collar. Locking the pin is achieved when extension members of the pin foot are misaligned with the retention member arms.

Abstract: A clamp includes a lock and a key. The lock defines a first longitudinal axis, and the key defines a second longitudinal axis. The lock has a clamping body portion, a pair of opposing snap lock arms, and an annular shaped receptacle. Each snap lock arm has a mounting end integrally joined to the clamping body portion. Each snap lock arm is flexible about its mounting end. The annular shaped receptacle is defined by the pair of opposing snap lock arms, being disposed between the pair of opposing snap lock arms adjacent to the mounting ends. The key includes a wedge body portion and a deformable elastic annular head portion. The annular head portion releasably retains the key in the lock. The annular head portion sized to engageably cooperate with the annular shaped receptacle to provide the releasable retention.

Abstract: An intensive use furniture concealed attachment device for securing furniture in a safe manner having a building bracket attached to the floor or wall and a tab attached to the furniture. The building bracket includes a tab flange and a pin flange. The tab is attached to the furniture in a mounting saddle formed on a mounting surface. The tab is adapted to slidingly engage the building bracket. A hole is formed in the furniture adjacent to the mounting saddle. A guide tube is disposed on the pin flange. A ball pin inserted into the hole and through the guide tube to engage the pin flange and connect the furniture to the building bracket. The tab connected to the building bracket provides support in the x, y and z axis directions.

Abstract: A breakaway hinge assembly includes a first bracket coupled to a boom section, a second bracket coupled to a breakaway boom section, and a damper system. The damper system includes a first damper assembly coupled to a stop bracket of the first bracket and a second damper assembly coupled to an upper bracket arm of the first bracket. Each damper assembly includes a housing, at least one rubber element disposed within the housing, a plunger having a first end in contact with the at least one rubber element, and a stop coupled to a second end of the plunger. The first and second brackets are pivotably coupled to each other so that the breakaway boom section pivots between a first position and a second position. The damper system is configured to prevent over-pivoting and reduce impact load of the breakaway boom section when pivoting to the first and second positions.

Abstract: A cattle guard may include a front rail with at least one receptacle therein, a back rail with at least one receptacle therein, at least one support member having a first end disposed in the at least one receptacle of the front rail and a second end disposed in the at least one receptacle of the back rail, a left rail with a first plurality of receptacles therein, a right rail with a second plurality of receptacles therein, and a plurality of pipes extending between the receptacles of the left and right rails and over the at least one support member. The improved base shoe includes dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal and a weather seal, wherein the safety-seal and weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.

The locking member has at least one protrusion spaced from the head, and a tool engaging head at the distal end. In use, the locking member extends through an opening of a panel such that the head is retained on a first side of the panel, the distal end is disposed on a second side of the panel, and the at least one protrusion abuts the second side of the panel to secure the panel to the fastener. The fastener includes a resiliently deformable portion arranged such that rotation of the tool engaging head deforms the resiliently deformable portion and moves the at least one protrusion out of abutment with the second side of the panel to release the panel from the fastener.

Abstract: A fitting splice plate connects a cable tray fitting to a cable tray section. The fitting splice plate includes a guard extending in an outboard direction from a second longitudinal portion of a plate body adjacent a first longitudinal portion of the plate body. The guard is adjacent one of an upper side and a lower side of the second longitudinal portion. The fitting splice plate may include both upper and lower guards.

Locking elements are screwed onto the threaded segments. Both threaded segments are attached to one another and are suitable for transmitting rotational movement between both threaded segments. A coupling of the threaded segments can comprise a disc with two faces, each of them opposite one end of the threaded segments. Between each of the faces and the end of the threaded segment there is a tongue and groove extending to a first diameter and a second diameter, respectively, such that the disc and the threaded segments are suitable for moving with respect to one another.

The bearing has a lower portion presenting a lower bearing surface having a first radius of curvature and an upper portion presenting an upper bearing surface having a second radius of curvature that is greater than the first radius of curvature. The lower bearing surface and the upper bearing surface surround a ball cavity in which a spherical ball portion of a ball stud is disposed. The housing second end region is plastically deformed radially inwardly to impart a bias on the bearing upper portion that causes the second radius of curvature to be biased substantially equal to the first radius of curvature.

Abstract: A flat-mounted connector that enables industry standard hooks on horizontal rods to rest at such a height as to provide uniform appearance to the top of drape walls. The flat-mounted connector provides a connection that affixes to a flat wall or surface and an affixed coupler for the drape rods to be affixed to a vertical surface. The connector has an upper region with a similar outside dimension as the body of the coupler. In an internal portion of the coupler, at least one hollow well opens vertically with at least one lateral notch or opening formed in an upper region and designed to accept a terminal hook used on an end of a horizontally placed rod. An example connector includes two couplers affixed to the flat-mounted connection to accept additional terminal hooks.
