    Abstract: An electromechanical actuator is integrated into a blackout or sun-shading device that includes a screen, top and bottom bars, and top and bottom winding shafts. The screen is between the bars. The top bar is connected to the top winding shaft by first cords. The bottom bar is connected to the bottom winding shaft by second cords. The electromechanical actuator includes first and second transmission devices and an electric motor that drives the shafts. The first transmission device connects to the motor and the top winding shaft and includes a first clutch. The second transmission device connects to the electric motor and the bottom winding shaft and includes a second clutch. When the motor is activated with only one clutch engaged, only one winding shaft is rotated. Moreover, when the motor is activated electrically and the clutches are engaged, the winding shafts are rotated by the motor.

    Abstract: The retractable screen retention system is a guiding device for retractable screens that is sturdy, secured, and does not displace easily. To accomplish this, the system includes a track assembly, a guiding rail, and a sliding assembly. The sliding assembly further includes a retention housing and a weight bar. The design and components of the retention housing allows for movement of the weight bar and the retractable screen and yet keeps them retained in the system. Furthermore, the arrangement of the sliding assembly is designed to be flexible and doesn't allow it to come out of the track during deflective motions such as due to wind or some other physical impact. Thus, the system provides a track assembly with a guiding channel for the retractable screen that prevents the displacement of the retractable screen from the track while providing flexibility.

The systems may include a frame configured to lock room divider panels compactly stacked against each other for storage and transport. The frame may retain a non-releasable panel and maintain it vertically upright. That panel may be hinged along a non-retained vertical edge to a closest of a plurality of panels movable with respect to the non-releasable panel. The plurality's panels are serially hinged together, accordion-like, along vertical edges. Hinge angles between adjacent stacked panels are approximately zero degrees. Movable panels are sequentially moved from the frame by user-control opening a locking mechanism. Hinge angles between adjacent panels of the plurality of moved panels, and between the non-releasable panel and its adjacent movable panel, are increased to expand the room divider. The locking mechanism gates return of panels to, and when unopened blocks their movement from, the non-releasable panel.
