Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable mediums including processes to correct for distortion in images introduced by eyewear (i.e., where the facial region surrounding the eye has a boundary that doesn't match the boundary of an uncovered facial region). The correction includes segmenting images to detect eyewear covered facial regions and facial regions not covered by the eyewear and altering the covered facial regions to match the covered facial boundary to the uncovered facial boundary. Alterations include processing using a machine learning model, applying anti-refraction algorithms, scaling the covered facial region to match boundaries of the uncovered facial region, or a combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 11321900
Abstract: A method for adjusting complexity of content rendered by a graphical processing unit (GPU) is described. The method includes processing, by the GPU, an image frame for a scene of a game. The method further includes tracking one or more metrics regarding the processing of the image frame during the processing of the image frame. During the processing of the image frame, the method includes sending a quality adjuster signal (QAS) to a shader associated with a game engine. The QAS is generated based on the one or more metrics associated with the processing by the GPU. During the processing of the image frame, the method includes adjusting, by the shader, one or more shader parameters upon receipt of the QAS, wherein said adjusting the one or more shader parameters changes a level of complexity of the image frame being processed by the GPU.

  • Patent number: 11257298
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for reconstructing three-dimensional meshes from two-dimensional images of objects with automatic coordinate system alignment. For example, the disclosed system can generate feature vectors for a plurality of images having different views of an object. The disclosed system can process the feature vectors to generate coordinate-aligned feature vectors aligned with a coordinate system associated with an image. The disclosed system can generate a combined feature vector from the feature vectors aligned to the coordinate system. Additionally, the disclosed system can then generate a three-dimensional mesh representing the object from the combined feature vector.
