Abstract: An electronic cabinet lock includes a lock housing, a lock body, a limiting member, a motor, and a main control board. The lock body and the limiting member are rotatably disposed in the lock housing, respectively. The motor is electrically connected to the main control board. The limiting member is driven by the motor through a transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism includes a screw rod driven by the motor and a slider threadedly connected to the screw rod. The slider is slidably disposed in the lock housing, and is movably connected to the limiting member. The transmission mechanism has few components, which is a simple structure and convenient for assembly.
Abstract: A latch assembly comprises an outside housing, a door latch, an external lever handle, a plunger, a resilient member, and a handle cam. The handle cam comprises a cam surface juxtaposed against and in sliding relation with a plunger cam surface. The plunger is maintained in the latched position when the external lever handle is in the retracted position by the resilient member, whereby an entry door cannot be unintentionally shifted from the closed position, and the plunger is displaced from the latched position to the unlatched position when the external lever handle is displaced from the retracted position to the extended position by the cam surface of the handle cam bearing against the plunger cam surface, whereby the entry door is free to be shifted from the closed position to the open position.
Abstract: A dual action latch, having a latch handle, an elongate bolt, a cam, a latch housing, and a biasing device, for installation on one side of door. The latch handle includes a lifting portion and a lever arm. The latch housing has a lever arm aperture through which the lever arm of the latch handle passes and a bolt guide for slidably receiving the elongate bolt. The latch handle is movably attached to the latch housing. With the latch handle moved, the lever arm withdraws the elongate bolt into the latch housing. Independently, when the cam is rotated by a separate handle on the other side the door, the cam plate likewise withdraws the elongate bolt into the latch housing.
Abstract: A latch assembly is provided with a child lock mechanism having a spring system including a first spring member and a separate second spring member that requires a first force to move the child lock mechanism from an off position to an on position and a second force to move the child lock mechanism from the on position to the off position, wherein the required second force is greater than the required first force, thereby indicating to a user by tactile feedback the relative position (on/off) the child lock mechanism is in, thereby assuring intended movement of the child lock mechanism from one of the on/off positions to the other.
