  • Patent number: 11255177
Abstract: An apparatus for testing of downhole multiphase fluid handling systems used in oil and gas production allows test personnel to visually observe the testing. The apparatus is constructed from housings and/or casings made partly or entirely of a see-through material. The see-through material allows for unaided visual observation of the flow regime of the fluid flowing through fluid handling equipment. This eliminates most all of the assumptions that typically need to be made about how well the equipment operates. The ability to clearly observe the flow regimes unassisted allows for accurate study of individual equipment effects, vortices interactions and formation, the effects of different velocities of fluid flow, the optimization of flow paths, remixing and flow regimes external of a system, slug creation, and other parameters known to those skilled in the art.

  • Patent number: 11215303
Abstract: The invention relates to a plastics pipeline comprising at least one pipeline end (1) and at least one support ring (2). It was the underlying object of the invention to improve a plastics pipeline of the type described at the outset in such a way that the support sleeve or the support ring (2) remains firmly connected to the pipeline even in the event of the plastics pipeline being stored in the presence of high air humidity and temperature. This object is achieved by virtue of the fact that the blow molded pipe section (1) runs through the support ring (2) and, as viewed radially, is pressed from the inside outward against the support ring (2), wherein the pipe section (1) engages around the support ring (2), such that the support ring (2), with its outer surface, and the pipe section (1), with its outer surface, are substantially in alignment.

  • Patent number: 11209109
Abstract: A crimp coupling includes a crimping ferrule for connecting a hose to a fitting. The fitting includes an outwardly projecting stop collar and a groove which extends circumferentially around the fitting at a constant axial distance to the stop collar. The crimping ferrule, which can be slid onto the fitting, includes a flange, a tapering hinge section, and a cylindrical section. A distance between the stop collar and the groove of the fitting is dimensioned such that the flange, when abutting the stop collar, has a lower edge facing away from the stop collar above the groove. Due to a diameter reduction of the cylindrical section and the tapering hinge section, during crimping, the flange is pivoted such that the lower edge of the flange is turned into the groove by the pivotal movement of the flange.
