Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for the aggregation, analysis, display and monetization of pricing data for commodities in general, and which may be particularly useful applied to vehicles are disclosed. In certain embodiments, one or more models may be applied over a set of historical transaction data associated with a vehicle configuration to determine pricing data. Some models may leverage incremental data in various conditions, including cases where fewer than a desired number of historical transactions are present in the bin of a specified vehicle, where fewer than, equal to, or more than a certain number of list prices for the specified vehicle available, and where no historical transaction data for new models is available.

Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus is presented for presenting retail information on a device having an image capture unit and a user interface. The method, system, and apparatus may receive, from the image capture unit, an image of a retail item. A triggering feature in the image of the retail item may be detected. An augmented-reality-enhanced view may be presented on the user interface. The augmented-reality-enhanced view may overlay over the image of the retail item multimedia presenting a demonstration, such as a fashion show video, of a retail product associated with the image. A touch input on a touch screen of the user interface may be received, and an action based on the touch input may be performed. The action performed may include presenting information on the retail product or facilitating a transaction for the retail product.

Abstract: Systems and methods providing a list having one or more wedding services vendors. The systems and method determine a valid set of vendors based on one or more received input data. A score for each respective vendor of the valid set of vendors is determined using the received input data and input data weighting rules. One or more recommended vendors are provided based on the determined valid set of vendors and the respective score for each respective vendor of the valid set of vendors. The one or more recommended vendors may be from the same category or from different categories of vendors. Systems and methods are also presented for managing electronic communications for wedding services by providing interfaces for enabling a vendor to present an electronic storefront related to wedding services and for a vendor to manage client leads received by the electronic storefront.

This business object model facilitates commercial transactions by providing consistent interfaces that are suitable for use across industries, across businesses, and across different departments within a business during a business transaction. Specifically, example business objects include PurchaseOrder ERP and PurchaseRequest ERP.

Abstract: Customized articles of footwear are produced by defining options that can be selected by a customer when submitting a custom order. These options typically include model options, functional options, and aesthetic options. These options are created by a design source, such as a shoe designer within a particular market, and presented to the customer when making the order. Upon a customer selecting one or more of the options at a user interface, the selected options are converted to specifications associated with the order. A work-load engine is employed to generate, based on the specifications, a work order that includes a dataflow for selecting appropriate stations on a manufacturing floor to participate in a manufacturing process, and a workflow for instructing each of the appropriate stations to perform a sequence of operations, within the manufacturing process, that result in fabricating individual components of the article of footwear according to the order.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided to facilitate buying and selling products utilizing social pricing. Sellers initiate sale of a product with volume discounts for a limited time. In other words, the more people that buy a product, the lower the price for the group. Buyers have a real incentive to become prosumers that not only purchase a product but also promote purchase by others. A social pricing system brokers interaction between sellers and buyer groups, and provisions mechanisms to aid promotion of products by consumers utilizing social networks and other online activities.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques, including systems and methods, for enabling a lending user to lend an application to a borrowing user. The borrowing user may use the application for a trial period, and, once the trial period lapses, the borrowing user may be given an opportunity to purchase the application. If the borrowing user purchases the application, then the lending user may be credited with a commission. According to some embodiments, in addition to or instead of lending the application, the lending user may lend or sell a status/stake in the application to the borrowing user. For example, if the application is a game, the status/stake may unlock certain levels or features of the game.

Abstract: A system and method to enable dynamic partner selection and subsequent order fulfillment by a service provider is presented. The system and method has an order entry device for obtaining an order, a service specification corresponding to the order, a flow execution engine, a partner selector mechanism, at least one partner, and at least one component obtained from the service specification, the component being broadcast from the partner selector mechanism to the partner, who responds to the broadcast, such that all of the partner responses are optimized by the partner selector mechanism for execution by said flow execution engine to fulfill the order.

Abstract: A system is provided in which a handheld computing device may be used to provide a user with shopping assistance services. A shopping assistance service may allow a user to obtain directory information for a shopping mall. A user may use the handheld computing device to handle shopping lists. The handheld computing device may display promotional material based on the shopping lists. The handheld computing device may be used to obtain information on products being sold in a store. Products may be purchased using wireless financial transactions. Reminders and other messages may be sent to the handheld computing device. The location of the handheld computing device may be monitored. Services may be provided to the user based on the location of the handheld computing device. The handheld computing device may communicate with communications equipment in retail establishments using a local wireless link.

Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating an on-line purchase of at least one item on behalf of a consumer are disclosed. A consumer may shop and purchase at least one item on a consolidated shopping (CS) website displaying one or more items available for purchase on one or more different merchant websites. The CS website provides consumers with advanced searching that takes into consideration a personal profile of the consumer, the consumer's previous shopping history, transactional data relating to a group of similar consumers, and the like. A host computer providing the CS website may access a merchant website selling the requested item, and order the requested item on behalf of the consumer, and charging a transaction fee, listing fee, receiving a rebate and/or offering a rebate for performing such. One embodiment allows a consumer to purchase/order multiple items from multiple websites in a single purchase request to the CS website.

Accordingly, electronic product codes are assigned to each good to monitor inventory and movement of the good.

Abstract: An exemplary network data exchange method includes the steps of: receiving a commodity browsing request containing a requester network address from a network; finding out a camera corresponding to the commodity browsing request; obtaining a control right or an access right of the camera; using the camera to capture the commodity according to a received camera operating request and obtaining videos or images of the commodity; and sending the videos or the images to the requester network address by the network. A network server is also provided in the present disclosure. The present disclosure may effectively improve the operation efficiency of an online shopping system as well as the efficiency and the accuracy of online shopping by utilizing the online shopping system by users, and promotes the consumption.

Abstract: A universal shopping cart is provided that obtains and orders products and services from different merchants located on the Internet. The consumer completes all of their shopping on the shopping site and is not directed to another merchant's site to complete an order. The universal shopping cart provides a monitoring service that allows the consumer to monitor a product for specified criteria. The order injection system places orders for products contained within the universal shopping cart from affiliated and non-affiliated merchants. Specific ordering details required from merchants external to the shopping site are hidden from the consumer. For external merchant sites that require a consumer account before allowing the product to be purchased, the shopping site creates a new consumer account without intervention from the consumer. Once the products are ordered, the consumer may keep track of the ordered products from the shopping site.

Abstract: A method facilitating purchase of goods over a communications network is disclosed. The method includes a mobile computing device reading buyer enrollment data and purchase card data from a purchase card of the buyer, encrypting the purchase card data and transmitting the data to a server. The method also includes a server generating a record associated with the buyer, transmitting encrypted purchase card data and a request for payment to a payment gateway, and transmitting an order for the one or more products. The method further includes the server detecting the passage of a predetermined period of time, accessing the record of the buyer, reading the encrypted purchase card data and the product identifier from the record, transmitting the encrypted purchase card data and a request for payment to the payment gateway, and transmitting an order for the one or more products.

Abstract: An online textbook exchange apparatus an associated methodology for receiving seller course material information from a seller including a first set of parameters and a course material survey, and generating a probability score. The online textbook exchange apparatus generates a course material profile containing the first set of parameters and the probability score and stores the course material profile in a memory. Buyer course material information is them received from a prospective buyer where the buyer course material information includes a second set of parameters. The online textbook exchange apparatus compares the one or more of the course material profiles to the second set of parameters and generates a set of comparison results. The one or more course material profiles and the respective probability score are then output to the prospective buyer based on the set of comparison results.

Abstract: A wholesale product ordering system is disclosed. The system comprises a remote server having an associated database of products of the at least one manufacturer and at least one portable access unit. The portable access unit has a video display and an associated keypad. The database of products includes images of the products and alphanumeric data (product identification numbers, prices, sizes, etc.) about the products. The portable access unit is used by a sales representative when visiting a potential customer (retail business) to access selected products of the database to display them and to enable direct ordering.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for presenting resale opportunities to purchasers of resalable items. An identifier of a resalable item is received. A number of resale estimates are determined for the item and presented to the purchaser of the item, and the purchaser indicates whether or not he or she intends to resale the item at a future date. Upon receiving an indication that the purchaser intends to resale the item, a resale prospect is stored containing the identifier of the item, an identifier of the purchaser, the date for resale of the item, the resale estimates, and the like. The purchaser may then be presented with at least one reminder regarding the resale of the item on or near the date for resale. The reminder may further include the resale estimates and a facility allowing the purchaser to quickly and easily initiate resale of the item.

Abstract: Methods, systems and machine readable tangible storage media that integrate an application store in a user device. In one embodiment, a selected document that cannot be used as selected triggers a request to an application store server to determine an availability of applications to use the document as selected. The user device enhances the display of the document selection interface to allow the user to display an application store interface to purchase the application. The purchased application is downloaded and installed on the user device, and the user is optionally apprised of the progress of the purchase with an animated icon representing the application “flying” from the application store interface and “landing” in a dock area within the display on the user device when ready for subsequent launch. Other embodiments are also described.

Abstract: A system can compare a newer model of a product to an older model of a product to determine attributes or features that are new to the newer model of the product. The system can then identify other products in the same product category as the newer model of the product that includes the new attribute or product feature. The system can recommend one or more of the products with the new product feature to a potential customer. In some cases, the system may identify an average upgrade time interval for upgrading the product. Then, if the system determines that the upgrade time interval has elapsed since a user obtained the older model of the product, the system can recommend the newer model of the product and/or other products that include the new product feature to the user.
