Abstract: A portable communication terminal apparatus is disclosed which can announce termination of a call in various methods with a simple configuration and allows selection of a suitable annunciation method in accordance with a utilization situation of the portable communication terminal apparatus so that an annunciation operation can be performed appropriately thereby achieve reduction of the power consumption and the noise generation. An unfolded/folded state of a body of a foldable portable telephone set is supervised by an unfolded/folded state detection section. When an annunciation operation is to be performed upon termination of a call or the like, an annunciation method determination section selects one of a plurality annunciation methods stored in a storage section in response to the unfolded/folded state of the portable telephone set.
