  • Patent number: 10212982
Abstract: A chin guard support mechanism includes first and second fixed-side members, and a moving-side member fixed to the chin guard. When the chin guard pivots forward from a down position in a rising direction, an annular following surface provided on the moving-side member pivots forward while following an annular followed surface provided on the second fixed-side member to make the chin guard rise while moving forward. It is possible to provide a helmet that allows the chin guard support mechanism capable of relatively excellently raising/lowering the chin guard to have a simple structure, allows to operate the chin guard support mechanism smoothly, obviates the necessity of making the structure in a region including an end of the chin guard including the chin guard support mechanism and a vicinity thereof bulky, and obviates the necessity of making the widthwise size of the helmet large.

  • Patent number: 10206457
Abstract: A one-piece, triangular shoe insert for use in pointed-toe shoes where the toe box extends beyond the tips of the toes. The insert is small enough to fit into a toe box of a pointed toe shoe and not cram the toes. The insert is large enough so that the insert remains in place within a pointed toe box due to friction. The insert is made of a dense but resilient material, so that it also remains in place within a toe box due to expansion of the material against the surface of the interior, curved underside of the toe box. The insert may remain in a shoe for the life of a shoe, or it may be removed by wedging one's index finger or a blunt object such as a flat-edge screwdriver underneath the insert and pulling it out. Upon removal from a shoe, the resilient material from which the one-piece insert is made springs back to its original shape, and the one-piece insert may be reused.

  • Patent number: 10130139
Abstract: A women's high-heel shoe and a non-removable insole to be incorporated therein, the insole having an arch fill, a 3-degree rearfoot post and a layer of a closed-cell foam material, such as ethylene vinyl acetate. The arch support extends below the arch and may be positioned along an inside edge of the insole. The 3-degree rearfoot post is configured to extend below an outside edge of a user's foot. The rearfoot post may be integral to the bottom layer of the insole and have a durometer of approximately 55. The rearfoot post may extend the full length of the insole but may have a width that is substantially smaller than the width of the insole. The insole may extend varying lengths, including the full length of the sole of the shoe or to a location adjacent a user's digital sulcus.
