Abstract: A multi-game arcade-type apparatus includes a framework, a first goal assembly, a ball return chute, and a second goal assembly. The first goal assembly receives tossed balls in a first game and is attached to a support portion of the framework. The ball return chute includes a bed and sidewalls for collecting balls from the first goal assembly and is attached between the support portion and a foldable portion of the framework. The second goal assembly receives tossed bean bags tossed in a second game and is attached to the bed. A rectangular front-end frame attached to the foldable portion includes a moveable upper cross member. In a first lower position, the moveable upper cross member stops the returning balls of the first game. In a second higher position, the moveable upper cross member acts as part of a third goal assembly for ladder balls tossed in a third game.

Abstract: A method of engaging an arrow with an anti-dry fire system on a crossbow and an arrow assembly for crossbow that engages the anti-dry fire system behind the draw string. Matched weight arrows having lighted and non-lighted nocks are also disclosed.

Abstract: A basketball training apparatus including a flexible basketball covering material with an opening configured to receive a basketball therethrough and a glove attached to the flexible basketball covering material to receive a ball handler's hand therein to perform basketball handling and dribbling moves, as well as experiencing “ball-in-hand” dribble time, without the need to release the basketball from being in contact with the ball handler's hand.

Abstract: A hockey puck is disclosed including an internal signal transmitter enabling instantaneous identification of its position as it moves around. The puck includes two molded subcomponents, which encapsulate the signal transmitter. The signal transmitter includes driver electronics and a number of signal transmitters which together generate and emit an electromagnetic signal. The electromagnetic signal is emitted by a plurality of diodes mounted in light pipes enclosed within cavities in the subcomponents that extend to outer surfaces of the hockey puck components. The puck includes two subcomponents that are attached via complimentary sets of concentrically arranged wedges.

Abstract: A knockdown-field-target resetting system is a remote-controlled system to return a knockdown-field-target back to its upright starting position after being shot down by a gun projectile. The system includes a device enclosure, a microcontroller, a wireless communication module, a portable power source, a lift arm, an arm actuator, and a remote control. The microcontroller, the wireless communication module, and the portable power source are housed within the device enclosure. After the knockdown field target is shot down, the remote control sends a wireless instruction, which is received by the microcontroller through the wireless communication module. The microcontroller then instructs the arm actuator to move the knockdown field target back to its upright starting position by pushing the knockdown field target with the lift arm.

Abstract: A projectile target preferably for archery practice is provided, which includes an improved construction for assembling the target and capturing arrows and other similar projectiles while preventing the arrows and similar projectiles from penetrating entirely through the target and projecting through or exiting the opposite side of the target. The target may be provided in a two-sided configuration with target patterns on both opposite faces of the target body. The main target body preferably is formed of a layered construction with at least first and second target layers which are joined in facing relation to form the main target body. The first and second target layers form first and second halves of the main body, which are joined together in facing relation to define a central plane in which a puncture resistant middle layer section is formed.

Abstract: A hockey puck is disclosed including an internal signal transmitter enabling instantaneous identification of its position as it moves around. The hockey puck includes two molded subcomponents, which encapsulate the signal transmitter. Abstract: There is described a rebound wall to be positioned with respect to a playing surface having an activity area and configured for varying a rebound of a ball directed thereon, the rebound wall comprising: a wall having a rebound surface and adapted to be positioned vertically relative to the playing surface so that the rebound surface substantially faces the activity area; the rebound surface comprising a plurality of impact zones each for returning the ball according to a respective type of shot, each impact zone comprising at least one rebound region each for rebounding the ball along a respective rebound direction towards the activity area upon the ball impacting thereon, each rebound region being shaped as a function of the respective rebound direction the type of shot of the respective impact zone in which the rebound region is contained.

Abstract: The present application describes a bag throwing game board and game. Players take a plurality of soft bags that are approximately round in shape and throw them from a distance towards the game board, which in various examples is in the shape of a tower, and has holes. Points are attributed to bags landing in different holes of the board, depending on the difficulty of landing the bag in each hole. After a series of throws, the point scores are totaled and the player earning the most points or the player first to reach a score goal wins.

Abstract: An apparatus or system for enhancing an edge of a sporting court may include a first surface configured to engage with a surface of the sporting court and a second surface coupled to the first surface and configured to receive a ball and retain the ball in engagement with the second surface. The second surface may comprise a plurality of sub-surfaces, wherein one of the sub-surfaces may comprise a radial curve or at least one peak and at least one trough. The apparatus may comprise a retaining mechanism configured to retain at least one of the first surface or the second surface adjacent a court edge barrier.

Abstract: A cocking system for retracting a string carrier on a crossbow that is substantially silent during operation. The cocking system includes a string carrier with a catch that is moveable between a closed position that engages a draw string, and an open position that releases the draw string. The string carrier slides along a center rail between a released configuration and a retracted position that locates the draw string in a drawn configuration. A trigger is positioned to move the catch from the closed position to the open position to fire the crossbow when the string carrier is in the retracted position. The cocking system includes a retaining mechanism that retains the string carrier in the retracted position while permitting a draw string to disengage and fire an arrow.

Abstract: A releasable net system using a releasable net attachment mechanism is provided. The releasable net system includes two or more upright structures with lateral support structures extending therebetween, and at least one net configured with the lateral support structures to form a net wall. The at least one net is attached to the lateral support structures using one or more releasable attachment mechanisms that are adapted to break under a predetermined load. In this way, the releasable attachment mechanisms may release the net from the support structures under environmental load conditions (high winds, snow, freezing rain) prior to the collapse of the support structures. The system may be used with outdoor netting systems such as those used for errant ball containment at golf driving ranges.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a basketball backboard system and methods of assembly. The backboard system reduces and simplifies the number of steps for a user to take in assembling the system for play. The basketball system comprises a base, a vertical support assembly including a pole, a backboard extension arm, a backboard, and a rim. In some embodiments, the user only has to complete five attachments to fully assemble the system, including securing the vertical support assembly to the base, securing the backboard extension arm to the pole, mounting the backboard to the extension arm, and mounting the rim to the backboard. It is further contemplated that the system will be convenient to package, as the vertical support assembly may be designed to fully nest within the base to reduce product volume.

Abstract: A sport exercise device; for use with a sport stick, the sport stick having a head and a shaft. The device comprises a face, edge and attachment means. In one approach, the edge is adapted and arranged to surround the stick's head. The attachment means allows attachment of the device's face to hold an independently provided weight with respect to the head. The attachment means may allow attachment of the device's face to close the stick's net sufficient to prevent out-passage of a ball within the net.

Abstract: A game assembly and method of game play with an adjustable assembly including a tennis racket, a net supported on a handle, and a game ball. The net and the tennis racket are interconnected to form a backboard and hoop for receiving the game ball. The assembly may be wall mountable with adhesive strips.

Abstract: A sports rebounding and goal apparatus for receiving a moving object, such as a ball, or puck having a base frame with elongated base members, an upper frame connected to the base frame and having elongated supports and upper frame members pivotally connected to the base frame. A first lock pivotally joins the supports and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the elongated supports and an unlocked configuration to allow folding movement of the supports relative to each other and relative to the first lock. Elongated cross members are pivotally connected to the upper frame and slidingly connected to base frame. A second lock pivotally connects at least one of the cross members and is selectively actuatable between a locked configuration to fix relative movement between the cross members and an unlocked position to allow drawing together of the cross members.

Abstract: A basketball hoop structure is described herein. The basketball hoop structure includes a frame, a rim, a backboard and a fixing arrangement having an elongated trough. The hoop structure may be fixed onto a support tube of a trampoline. The support tube includes two slits and a locking hole. The trough includes two locking plates and a locking pin. When the basketball hoop structure is fixed to the support tube, the locking plates are inside the slits of the support tube and the locking pin is inside the locking hole.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a crane machine, including a first driving unit, a gripping device, a movable rope, and a fixed rope. The first driving unit includes a first motor, a first transmission shaft, a fixed wheel, and a movable wheel; the fixed wheel is fixedly connected to the first transmission shaft, and the movable wheel is movably connected to the first transmission shaft. The fixed wheel is arranged with a first limiting portion, and the movable wheel is arranged with a second limiting portion; in a first state, the first limiting portion is spaced apart from the second limiting portion, and the fixed wheel rotates relative to the movable wheel; in a second state, the first limiting portion abuts against the second limiting portion, causing the fixed wheel to drive the movable wheel to rotate synchronously.

Abstract: A throwing mechanism is provided. A basketball holder is located at a first portion of a catapult arm at a first side of a pivot, and a spring is attached to a second portion of said catapult arm located at a second side of the pivot. A motor is cycled to cause a ram mounted to one or more linkages connected to the motor to contact the second portion of said catapult arm for pivoting the catapult arm into a second position where the first portion is secured by an engagement arm located rearward of the catapult arm, and subsequently contact the engagement arm to release the catapult arm for pivoting movement into a first position by forces exerted by the spring to launch the basketball located at the first portion of said catapult arm.
