  • Patent number: 11770685
Abstract: Systems and methods can use a variety of computing devices to obtain location data that can be used to generate a prediction of a likelihood that a person will move his or her residence. The location data can be generated based on location data captured from a mobile computing device and/or based on telematics data captured during the operation of a vehicle and/or from a computing device. The location data may be compiled into graphs comprising locations of visited by the person and relationships between the locations visited by the person, such as instances of the person traveling between the two locations. The likelihood to change residence can be determined based on the amount of time the person spent at a given location, the distance between the various locations that are the most significant in the graph, and/or the frequency of visits to particular locations.

  • Patent number: 11653295
Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a mapping table is transmitted to a user device. The mapping table includes, for each entry, an index, a frequency band, and wireless services available on the frequency band. Index information corresponding to a frequency band and wireless service available in a location associated with the user device is communicated to the user device. An icon associated with the wireless service is displayed on a display of the user device. A network device determines that the user device is using the wireless service to communicate via a wireless network and transmits, to a core network, an indication that the user device is using the wireless service on the frequency band.

  • Patent number: 11632659
Abstract: An indoor geolocation system for determining a location in three-dimensional space includes a plurality of base stations and a mobile device movable about an indoor environment in three dimensions. The mobile device detects electromagnetic signals in the indoor environment emitted by devices other than the base stations, and generates a signal profile based on the signals. The mobile device transmits the signal profile to one or more of the base stations, which forward the signal profile to a remote server. The system determines a location of the in three-dimensional space of the mobile device by comparing the signal profile to data regarding signal profiles at a plurality of locations in the indoor environment. The data regarding signal profiles in the indoor environment may have been captured by a detection device other than the mobile device at a time prior to the detection of the electromagnetic signals by the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11630181
Abstract: The positioning capabilities of a User Equipment (UE) are stored in a core network to reduce positioning latency when the UE indicates that its positioning capabilities are stable and/or are long term valid. The UE may provide its positioning capabilities to a location server during a location session along with an indication of whether the positioning capabilities are stable. The location server may enable storage of the positioning capabilities for the UE in the core network, e.g., in the location server or another entity in the core network such as Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), if there is an indication that the positioning capabilities are stable. The AMF may include a UE identifier in location requests with which the location server may retrieve the UE positioning capabilities if stored at the location server or may include the UE positioning capabilities if stored at the AMF.
