Abstract: A storage box for storing power tool bits comprises a container, a bit holder and a control device. The container defines a compartment in which is received the bit holder along a common rotary axis. The bit holder comprises a plurality of outwardly radial pockets for receiving bits. The control device selectively disengages from the bit holder so that the bit holder is rotational about the common axis to move the bits rotationally in and out of the compartment.

Abstract: A shipping container for shipping diagnostic specimens. An outer container includes inner foam panels that define an inner cavity enclosed by a closed cell polymeric foam for receiving items to be shipped. The inner cavity has an H-shaped transverse cross section for receiving specimen vials that can be packaged in a polymeric bag having several side-by-side compartments for receiving specimen vials. A freezable material is placed within the inner cavity and adjacent to the specimens to maintain the specimens packed within the container below a predetermined temperature during shipment. The foam defining the inner cavity provides insulation to aid in maintaining the temperature of the contents.

Abstract: The portable housing container is of the front and rear side opening type. When one side of the housing container is opened so that the first edge of the first plate may be separated from the third edge of the second plate, the first housing recess of the first plate appears and stacks of tags or memo papers housed therein can be dispensed. Similarly, when the other side of the housing container is opened so that the second edge of the first plate may be separated from the fourth edge of the second plate, the second housing recess of the second plate appears. If different types of stacked sheets are housed, respectively, in the first housing recess and the second housing recess, the different types of sheets can be carried.

Abstract: A holder for holding a plurality of blades, where one embodiment of the holder includes a base portion, a main body and an openable cover portion. The main body is preferably configured and arranged to be removably attached to the base portion. There are a plurality of cells defined within the main body, with each cell configured and arranged to hold at least one blade on a seating portion, wherein the seating portion defines a blade seating plane. Additionally, the openable cover portion is preferably configured and arranged to be removably attached to the main body. Preferably, the base portion is separate from the main body, and these components are preferably configured to enable the holder to either be attached to a wall or seated on a horizontal surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a children's first aid kit suitable for treating minor scrapes and cuts. The compact kit is integral with a reusable cooling mechanism designed to provide a cooling sensation to the injured area. The kit is further integral with a supply of antiseptic medicine and bandages, and can be easily carried and made available in any situation. An optional applicator to dye the skin surrounding the wound to create a temporary design can be supplied.

Abstract: A medicine apparatus for storing medicine pill vials; indicator for indicating day, segment of day and time; seven days with four segments per day medicine dispensers; area for sorting medicines; and weekly communications sheets which will be stored as medical records. All the above mentioned elements are embodied within one housing so as to be available in one convenient location. The apparatus has been designated for medical patients who may be experiencing dementia as well as patients who may be losing dexterity in their hands. The apparatus is molded from inert materials such as plastics thus allowing for the said apparatus to be lightweight yet durable and inexpensive.

Abstract: A contact lens package includes a holder having a receptacle for holding a contact lens and a cap having a seal for sealing a contact lens within the receptacle. The cap is attached to the holder and is movable from an end of the holder where the receptacle is formed toward an opposite end of the holder. As the cap moves toward the opposite end of the holder, the end of the holder where the receptacle is formed ruptures the seal such that the contact lens can be removed from the package.

Abstract: A paint roller holder for holding a roller sleeve attached to a roller frame. The roller holder has a body having an opening configured for receiving the roller sleeve and for allowing the roller sleeve to be placed inside the body. The body has a cutout configured to circumferentially seal a portion of the roller frame. A support cradle is disposed on the body and is configured for supporting the roller frame and preventing the roller sleeve from contacting an interior of the body. A closure seals the opening of the body for preventing hardening of paint on the sleeve.

Abstract: A child-resistant compact for dispensing product on blister cards includes a first portion having a first panel hinged to a first clamp for capturing an end of a first blister card, and a second portion having a second panel hinged to a second clamp for capturing an end of a second blister card. The first and second clamps are connected to each other such that the first and second panels form a chamber for enclosing the blister cards. At least one child-resistant latch is on the periphery of the panels for opening one or both panels with respect to the clamps for access to the blister cards.

Abstract: A protective case with a combination hinge and swivel connector for the lid. The lid opens in clamshell fashion and then swivels around and folds down over the back of the case so that the back of the shell nests in the lid. The lid, when folded back in this manner, provides a comfortable surface for holding the open case in the hand.

Abstract: The invention relates to a multipurpose device for the safe handling of sharp surgical implements and comprises a molded thermoplastic body that includes a container portion and a scalpel holder section. Magnetic material in the container holds scalpel blades and/or needles after use and magnetic material on the holder section presents a needle for pick-up by a needle holder. The scalpel holder section supports a scalpel or scalpels in cantilever fashion for convenient gripping and withdrawal by a surgeon. The body has a shape and surface characteristics that assures a secure hand grip even in wet conditions.

Abstract: A refill case that includes a middle plate, the middle plate has a bottomed short cylinder shape that contains a cosmetic item and an outward brim along the periphery, a case body that accepts and keeps the middle plate, and a cap that is fitted around the case body detachably in screw engagement. The refill case also includes a ring-shaped gasket made of a soft, elastic material used to seal the middle plate through tight contact of the brim, and a butting wall disposed on either one of the case body or the cap to butt against the other one at a position in which screw engagement of the cap is complete and in which soft contact deformation of the gasket is controlled within a range of elastic deformation. The gasket is fitted to the cap in an undetachable manner but having play relative to the roof.

Abstract: A single-use scalpel blade remover (1) removes a blade (33) from a tang (32) of a scalpel (30) and captures it, in a single-handed operation. The remover (1) comprises a housing (2) having a detent (16), and an actuator (3) which is operatively juxtaposed with the housing (2) and moveable alongside the housing in a forward direction from a proximal position (whereat an opening is formed between the proximal ends of the actuator and the housing) to a distal position (whereat the detent (16) engages the proximal end of the actuator). The blade remover (1) also includes a cam-operated mechanism (14,23,20) for automatically separating the heel of the blade (33) from the tang (32) as the actuator (3) is moved to the distal position.
