Abstract: Disclosed is a process for removing acids in a system in which aromatic hydrocarbons are separated from a mixture with aliphatic hydrocarbons. The aromatic hydrocarbons are extracted from the mixture using an extracting solvent. The aromatic hydrocarbons are stripped from the extracting solvent with steam and the steam is condensed to form water which is separated from the aromatic hydrocarbons. The separated water is passed through a basic anion exchange column and is then heated to produce the steam.

Abstract: A method of producing a multilayer ceramic electronic device, having a firing step for firing a pre-firing element body wherein a plurality of dielectric layers and internal electrode layers containing a base metal are alternately arranged, characterized in that the firing step has a temperature raising step for raising a temperature to a firing temperature, and hydrogen is continued to be introduced from a point in time of the temperature raising step. According to the method, it is possible to provide a method of producing a multilayer ceramic electronic device, such as a multilayer ceramic capacitor, wherein shape anisotropy and other structural defaults are hard to occur and electric characteristics are improved while suppressing deterioration thereof even if dielectric layers becomes thinner and stacked more.
Abstract: The present invention forms screw-like projection at the entrance of ceramic bottle and enables air-tightening with plastic cork, formed with screw-like projection in its body. It guarantees air tightening of ceramic bottle, and does not use imported cork, which decreases the need to import. Moreover, increases productivity by automating the air-tightening process of plastic cork. The present invention can reduce cost of production, at the same time, increasing productivity, and it can be re-used multiple times after the air-tightening.
Abstract: A hydrogen generator comprises therein a reformer, a Shifter, a material flow passage with first evaporator through which a material is supplied to the reformer, a reformed gas flow passage for leading the reformed gas derived from the reformer to the Shifter, a shifted gas flow passage through which a shifted gas derived from the Shifter is taken out, and second steam flow passage formed adjacent to the reformed gas flow passage to be located at upstream side of the Shifter. The second evaporator is provided within the second steam flow passage. A part of heat of the reformed gas is recovered as latent heat by the second evaporator. Thereby, temperature of the Shifter is controlled.

Abstract: A method of forming a waist band on an absorbent article is disclosed. The method includes forming stretchable front and back panels and attaching an elastic band to at least one of the panels. Each elastic band is cantilevered outward from a distal end of the panel to which it is attached. An absorbent assembly is also secured between the front and back panels. The method further includes folding one panel over the other panel so that the outer ends of the elastic bands are aligned approximately even to one another. The first and second side edges of the front panel, back panel and elastic bands are then joined together by a pair of seams to form an absorbent article having a waist opening and a pair of leg openings.
Abstract: A surface acoustic wave element is mounted onto a mounting substrate having a terminal electrode via a bump by flip chip bonding. The surface acoustic wave element is covered with a resin film. The periphery of the surface acoustic wave element mounted on the mounting substrate is covered with a portion of the resin film so that the surface acoustic wave element is sealed. The resin film is hardened. Thus, a surface acoustic wave device is provided.

Abstract: A method of making stretchable absorbent articles includes the steps of providing a continuous substrate layer, providing one or more streams of adhesive fibers and superabsorbent particles, shaping the one or more streams of adhesive fibers and superabsorbent particles, depositing the adhesive fibers and superabsorbent particles on the substrate layer to form a plurality of shaped absorbent cores bound to the substrate layer, and separating the absorbent cores from each other. The absorbent cores thus formed do not prevent stretching of the substrate layer. The combination of absorbent core and substrate layer can be used in a wide variety of personal care absorbent articles and medical absorbent articles.
