    Abstract: The exemplary Multimedia Next Generation Network architecture disclosed herein covers the entire next generation system, e.g. for wireless communication services, including application, signaling and bearer functionalities. The architecture addresses unification of subscriber databases for both SIP services and non-SIP services in a Services Data Management Center (SDMC). A Security Center (SC) provides a central repository for all security related databases and functions. An Application Control Point (ACP) provides a single point of services control for all active SIP services for all subscribers via state information and services interaction management. Policy decisions are made at the packet layer, for example in an Advanced Bearer Control Point (ABCP) clustered with other functions to form a Bearer Services Control Point (BSCP). Policy enforcement is implemented at various nodes at the network or packet layer (L3) and above, e.g. including the BSCP and ACP.

    Abstract: A system for automatically adjusting operation of a distributed application program includes analytics means having a monitoring component. The monitoring component receives one or more event streams of data corresponding to execution of one or more modules of the distributed application program. The monitoring component joins the received event streams with one or more declarative models to create operational data. A forensics component of the analytics means queries, such as by using data from a declarative model store, the operational data to identify trends or behavior information for the various modules or components of the distributed application program. A planner component then reviews data created by the forensics component to identify any needed changes to the declarative models. The planner component passes any modified declarative models back to the system, so that the distributed application program can operate more efficiently using the changes to the declarative models, as needed.

    Abstract: A network device and method are directed towards detecting and blocking spam within a message by rapidly performing a predication analysis based on early received sender reputation reports. Reputation reports may be received from a plurality of users receiving messages that they interpret as either spam or non-spam. A reputation report rate prediction table is employed to predict the total number of user reports that will occur. The total number of spam reports and not spam (ham) reports for may then be used with a sender categorization model to rapidly predict whether the sender is likely to be a spammer. If the sender is determined to be a spammer, various preventative actions may be taken, including, but not limited to blocking messages from the sender to users, alerting third party filter generators of the spammer, or the like.

The manifold has a plurality of manifold connection points in fluid connection with one another.
