    Abstract: A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor, a stator core, coils, and insulating sheets. A discharge port that discharges coolant is provided on an outer circumferential face of the rotor. The stator core includes an annular or cylindrical yoke, and teeth disposed on an inner circumferential face of the yoke in a circumferential direction with spaces. The stator core is disposed encompassing an outer circumference of the rotor. A slot-wall-face channel is provided on a wall face of the stator core defining a slot, and configured to open as to the slot for the coolant to flow through. The coils are wound on the teeth. The insulating sheet is disposed in the slot and interposed between the stator core and the coil, and is configured with at least part of the slot-wall-face channel open as to the coil.

According to the present disclosure, the heat of each part of the motor stator can be quickly conducted, so as to rapidly reduce the temperature, quickly eliminate the instantaneous temperature peak, and improve the temperature gradient equilibrium of each part.

For that purpose, the present invention includes: a stator coil including a coil conductor and a main insulation layer covering a surface of the coil conductor; a core slot containing the stator coil; a first semiconducting layer that is placed between the stator coil and the core slot and is wrapped around and in contact with the main insulation layer; and a second semiconducting layer that is wrapped around the stator coil and in contact with the core slot, with the second semiconducting layer overlaid on the first semiconducting layer. The first semiconducting layer has a surface facing toward the core slot and a release layer is formed on the surface facing toward the core slot. The first semiconducting layer has electric connection with an inner peripheral surface of the core slot via the second semiconducting layer.
