  • Patent number: 10569980
Abstract: A media alignment calibration system determines a slope relating a trailing edge skew value to its paired leading edge skew value and an intercept representing native skew based on a linear regression of a predetermined number of a set of paired leading and trailing edge skew values for a media type stored in a buffer. Based on the slope and intercept, a media model for the media type is updated based on the linear regression to adjust a differential velocity of a pair of aligned media feed rollers in a media feed mechanism to correct both a future native skew and future paired leading and trailing edge skew values in the buffer to within a desired operational window.

  • Patent number: 10550997
Abstract: A lubrication pump includes a housing defining a bore, an adjustable cylinder sleeve within the bore, and a piston slidably movable within the bore along a longitudinal axis of the bore. A connector may be drivingly interposed between a cam and the piston for driving the piston in reciprocating axial motion. The connector may have a coupling for engaging the piston, which may enable rotational engagement between the connector and the piston. The connector may have a roller for bearing engagement with the cam, which may enable the connector to rotate about the longitudinal axis relative to the housing as the connector moves axially within the bore. The cam may be laterally displaceable relative to the connector. The cylinder sleeve may be adjustable relative to the piston for varying lubricant fluid output flow. The cylinder sleeve and corresponding piston may be interchangeably disposed in the housing.

  • Patent number: 10544612
Abstract: A gravity powered garage door control opening and closing system that eliminates the conventional electric garage door opener and eliminates its two most common risks of failure, the first being a gear and/or bearing failure and the second being an electrical power failure. Other advantages include a reduction in electrical power needed and a reduction in cost over every other type of garage door opener. The present invention operates by transferring fluid between a counter weight and a storage tank under programmed control to control the movement and speed of the garage door as a function of its position in the door guides in which the door moves in.
