[Solution] A method for manufacturing a medical vial is a method for manufacturing a medical vial including a fire blast process of applying a flame ejected from a point burner to a deteriorated layer generated on the inner surface of a vial, in which the vial is molded from a glass tube containing a Type IA borosilicate glass as the raw material and the molar ratio of oxides contained in the borosilicate glass satisfies ?=0.23±0.02 in ?=[(Na2O+K2O)—Al2O3]/B2O3 and satisfies ?=7.5±0.5 in ?=B2O3/Al2O3.
Abstract: A footwear sole structure having a fluid-filled chamber including a tensile member is provided. The fluid-filled chamber includes a first barrier sheet, a second barrier sheet and the tensile member. The first barrier sheet is formed from a first thermoplastic material. The second barrier sheet is attached to the first barrier sheet and is formed from a second thermoplastic material. The first barrier sheet and the second barrier sheet cooperate to define an internal cavity. The tensile member is disposed within the internal cavity and is formed from a third thermoplastic material. A first weld attaches the first barrier sheet, the second barrier sheet, and the tensile member together by melding the first thermoplastic material of the first barrier sheet, the second thermoplastic material of second barrier sheet, and the third thermoplastic material of the tensile member.

Abstract: An antislip, heat sealable plastic packaging bag, is formed from an antislip flexible packaging material whose wall has an average surface weight of at most 500 g/m2. The packaging material includes a multiplicity of randomly distributed, separate antislip protrusions of a first substance. The protrusion height is between 50 micrometres and 10000 micrometres, with an average of top-plan-view aspect ratios of the antislip protrusions being at most 5.0. Some antislip protrusions have a hidden surface portion being a portion of a free surface of the antislip protrusion, which the antislip protrusion covers from a viewer in a top plan view of the wall. The first substance is a thermoplastic polymer, and the wall's outer surface is of a substance at least somewhat different from the first substance. It is an important feature that the first substance has a melt mass flow rate of at least 0.6 g/10 min.

Abstract: Disclosed are preforms which incorporate improvements in the region of the neck and upper segment of the body to allow the production of lightweight containers, such as bottles suitable for containing water or other beverages. In accordance with certain embodiments, the improvements include a thinner neck finish area than conventional bottles, where the thinner area is extended into the upper segment of the body portion below the support ring. Reducing the thickness in these areas of the bottle allows for less resin to be used in forming the preform and bottle.
