Abstract: Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a sole portion with a set of weight ports. Each weight port may have a first section and a second section. Each weight portion from a first set of weight portions may be adhered to the first section of a corresponding weight port by epoxy. Each weight portion from a second set of weight portions may be fastened to the second section of a corresponding weight port. At least a portion of the weight portions of the first set of weight portions may be interchangeable. At least a portion of the weight portions of the second set of weight portions may interchangeable. Other examples may be described and claimed.

Abstract: A chess board, comprising a top layer comprising sixty-four (64) squares of alternating color arranged in eight parallel ranks and eight parallel files, and a bottom layer comprising a circuit board, the circuit board comprising sixty-four (64) radio frequency identification antennas arranged in registration with the sixty-four (64) squares of alternating color in the top layer, and an electronic circuit operatively arranged to sense positions and movement of chess pieces on the sixty-four (64) squares of the top layer and communicate the positions and movement to a computer.

Abstract: A waterslide feature for providing a looping or arcuate travel path for a rider traveling thereon and method for making the same. The waterslide feature may have an entrance, an exit, and a surface (e.g., a ride surface, such as a bottom surface and/or a wall surface) therebetween comprising a transparent and/or semi-transparent surface configured to permit the rider to see through the surface and experience an exterior environment. Spectators or bystanders to the waterslide feature may be able to see through the surface and to witness riders riding upon the waterslide feature. The waterslide feature may be oriented at an angle to horizontal (e.g., tilted) and/or may be positioned within a defined exterior environment contained within an exterior wall. The exterior wall may be configured to retain water such that at least a portion of the waterslide feature is below the height of the water.

Abstract: A playing card handling device comprises an elevator platform configured to receive one or more cards from an input platform to form a shuffled set of cards, a card gripper positioned above the elevator platform, and configured to grip cards from the shuffled set of cards, and a processor configured to control the elevator platform to have a grip position for the card gripper to grip the shuffled set of cards, wherein the grip position is adjusted based, at least in part, on a correction value associated with a particular card insertion. A related method includes determining a grip position of an elevator platform of a card handling device based, at least in part, on a desired insertion location within a stack of shuffled cards as adjusted based on a corrective value that is different for a plurality of different insertion locations.

Abstract: A magnetic card holder assembly that forms a card playing surface that allows users to play card games in environments with high winds or other disruptive elements. The magnetic card holder assembly comprises a main unit, a plurality of card holder slabs, and a plurality of deck protector sleeves. The card holder comprises the main unit and slabs that can be stacked in closed configuration for storage or connected in an open configuration for game playing. Each slab has a plurality of magnets. Each of the deck protector sleeves includes a deck magnet that is attracted to the slab magnets. In operation, playing cards are inserted into the magnetized deck protectors. The magnetized deck protectors that contain the cards are placed and retained on the upper surface of the magnetized slabs. The magnetic card holder is transportable where game play can be paused without concern about disruption of game play.

Abstract: An electromagnetic game board includes a configurable grid of electromagnets under a game board to move game pieces on the board. Alternative to electromagnets is acoustic levitation through soundwave. In an oscillating electric field (four sides), a magnet can create excite ultrasound that quickly contract and rebound its original shape to push out pulses of air.

Abstract: A cooperative board game played by a group of players includes a customizable playhouse, a game board having a plurality of defined areas each defined by a shape on the game board, a plurality of activities including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 activities, wherein each level corresponds to one of the defined areas, a plurality of decks of dramatic play cards, wherein each of the plurality of decks corresponds to one of the levels, and an online map that can be accessed after completing a final activity in Level 4. Abstract: A method of manufacturing a golf club head includes: providing an intermediate golf club head body; prescribing a scoreline length value based on at least a first final spatial attribute of the intermediate golf club head; and texturing a first region of the striking face to exhibit a first average surface roughness Ra1 of greater than 180 ?in by surface milling in a first pass to form a plurality of arcuate micro-grooves each having a radius of curvature selected based on at least a second final spatial attribute of the intermediate golf club head. The method further includes texturing a second region of the striking face to exhibit a second average surface roughness Ra2 that is less than Ra1, and it includes forming a plurality of scorelines in the striking face, the plurality of scorelines defining a scoreline length LS substantially equal to the prescribed scoreline length value.

Abstract: Automatic card shufflers may include a card input mechanism for inputting cards into the card shuffler, a card storage device for receiving cards from the card input mechanism and temporarily storing cards within the card shuffler, and a card output mechanism for outputting cards from the card shuffler. The automatic card shufflers may randomly select an internal compartment to be an overflow compartment for inserting cards when a failure of insertion of a card to a selected primary card position occurs.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include an amusement park ride. The amusement park ride include a ride vehicle that can transition from a first configuration to a second configuration during the duration of the ride. The amusement park ride can include a loading area for loading passengers into the ride vehicle and a separate unloading area for disembarking passengers from the ride vehicle. After disembarking passengers from the ride vehicle the ride vehicle travels to a transition area concealed from the public where the ride transitions from the second configuration to the first configuration. In the transition area, maintenance can be performed on the ride vehicle and calibration can be performed on one or more of the ride vehicle systems (e.g., projector or audio systems).

A front view of a detailed character image is printed on the reverse side of the carrier, which is visible through the carrier obverse side. An opaque silhouette of a neutral color is superimposed upon the character image front view and a rear view of the character image is printed superimposed upon the opaque silhouette. The carrier is then cut from a substrate with a perimetric edge outlining the character image. A foot portion is included, projected upon from the lowermost portion of the perimetric edge. A base portion is included, cut from a similar substrate. The base portion includes a slot into which the foot portion of the carrier securably inserts. The result is a lightweight, packable, transportable, and detailed game piece operable in an associated game space.
