Abstract: A parking assist system includes a parking slot searcher for searching a parking slot around a vehicle and obtaining parking environment information, a driver sensor for sensing a driver in the vehicle and obtaining driver information, a fellow passenger sensor for sensing a fellow passenger in the vehicle and obtaining fellow passenger information, and a controller for setting a parking complete criterion based on one or more of the parking environment information, the driver information and the fellow passenger information.
Abstract: A method for operating a vehicle system of a motor vehicle for determining at least one state variable which describes the state of the driver, in particular the attention and/or fatigue of the driver, wherein the state variable is determined by using a reference data set which describes a reference state, in particular a normal state of the driver, wherein the conditions of a condition group are verified during an entire drive of the motor vehicle, and wherein when all conditions are established a reference data set is recorded so long as all conditions are established and the reference data set is analyzed for calibrating and/or adjusting at least one operating parameter of the vehicle system.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a vehicle control apparatus and a vehicle control method thereof. The vehicle control apparatus includes an input unit to receive first current heat energy calculation information, receive second current heat energy calculation information, and receive a current degree of slope; an estimator to estimate a current temperature of the brake apparatus on the basis of information regarding the difference between the first current heat energy calculation information and the second current heat energy calculation information; a compensator to compensate for braking power between the brake apparatus and the brake friction material; and a controller to receive the first current heat energy calculation information, the second current heat energy calculation information, and the current degree of slope, transmit an estimation command to the estimator, and transmit a compensation command to the compensator.
