  • Patent number: 11277593
Abstract: A video signal transmitter or receiver for handling multiple video signals, including mainboard signal processing circuitry, one master fiber module, and one or more add-on fiber modules. Video data signal for the multiple videos are transmitted over the master and add-on fiber modules, but no video control signal is transmitted over any add-on fiber module. Video control signal for all of the multiple videos are transmitted on a first subset of channels of the master fiber module in a multiplexed manner. The mainboard signal processing circuitry cooperates with the signal processing chip of the master fiber module to process all video control signals, with the master fiber module processing video control signals for at least two videos. Non-video signals are processed by the mainboard circuitry and transmitted on a second subset of channels of the master fiber module (same as or different from the first subset of channels).

  • Patent number: 11258967
Abstract: An imaging device includes a drive unit that drives pixels each including a photoelectric converter to output a first signal based on charge generated by the photoelectric converter in a first exposure period and a second signal based on charge generated by the photoelectric converter in a second exposure period shorter than the first exposure period, a detection unit that detects a change in a relative position between an object and the imaging device by using the first and second signals, and an image generation unit that generates an image by using the first and second signals. When selecting the first or second signal for each pixel, in accordance with a result of determination whether the first signal is saturated, the image generation unit decides whether or not to use a detection result from the detection unit as a criterion in selecting the first or second signal.

  • Patent number: 11250887
Abstract: A machine includes a processor and memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to perform operations comprising receiving, from a plurality of computing devices, a plurality of messages, each message comprising at least one message parameter. For each message of the plurality of messages, the machine determines whether the at least one message parameter comprises temperature data indicating a temperature of a location of a respective computing device. Based on determining that the at least one message parameter comprises temperature data, the temperature data is evaluated to determine whether the temperature of the location of the respective computing device corresponds to a first media collection. The message is added to the first media collection based on determining that the temperature of the respective computing device corresponds to the first media collection.

  • Patent number: 11218692
Abstract: A method for testing and/or calibrating a camera is provided. An optical test standard is produced. A plurality of subareas, with different grey tones, are applied to a substrate. At least one reference image of the substrate is captured using a reference camera, using a predetermined setting comprising at least one parameter. Reference greyscale values for the subareas are determined from the reference image and assigned to the substrate. At least one image of the optical test standard is captured by the camera using a predetermined setting of the camera, the setting comprising at least one parameter. Actual greyscale values for the subareas are determined from this image. An assertion about a sufficient or insufficient calibration of the camera is made based on a comparison of the actual greyscale values with the reference greyscale values or with a predetermined range of permissible actual greyscale values.
