  • Patent number: 7584866
Abstract: An all plastic paint container comprising the combination of a cylindrical pail, a separate snap-on pouring spout ring and a separate snap on lid having a tear band which must be removed before manual access to the edge of the lid for removal purposes can be realized. The mechanical attachments between the pouring ring and the pail and between the lid and the pouring ring are achieved by inverted U-shaped channels and under cuts which provide the snap on mechanical associations.

  • Patent number: 7575134
Abstract: A self-sealing nozzle for a liquid dispensing device having a valve and a discharge port, the discharge port including a plug that may be bulbous in shape, the plug being retained by a retainer at the end of the discharge passage leading to the port. An elastomeric seal has an annular inner surface that seals against the plug when liquid is not being dispensed by said valve, but expands and forms a passage around the plug when liquid is being dispensed by said valve.

  • Patent number: 7513399
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a viscous material in a selected one of a multiplicity of configurations comprises a container having a squeezable body and neck with a discharge opening at its upper end. Engaged with the container is a closure body of generally circular cross section with a top wall and skirt. The top wall has a post with a discharge passage therethrough aligned with the neck discharge opening. A generally circular rotating disc is rotatably disposed on the closure body top wall and has a central hub seating said post. The post has an aperture alignable with the hub discharge passage for passage of viscous material therethrough. The disc has a multiplicity of flow openings spaced about the disc in a circular array and represents a multiplicity of configurations.

  • Patent number: 7510102
Abstract: An aerosol dispenser utilizes a vertical container filled with a pressurized liquid. An actuator which has a nozzle is positioned on the valve stem which is located on the top of the container. The actuator when pressed vertically or horizontally allows a jet flow of liquid to spray from the nozzle. The dispenser is provided with apparatus for preventing formation of a residual liquid film after termination of the jet flow spray which would otherwise clog the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 7464834
Abstract: A dispensing container for two flowable products for separately dispensing the two flowable products includes a first container receiving a first flowable product and including a first dispensing outlet and defining a hollow interior, a second container receiving a second flowable product and including a second dispensing outlet, the second container being positioned in the hollow interior. A fitment is assembled into the first dispensing outlet and connects to the second dispensing outlet. The fitment defines an inner outlet for dispensing the second flowable product and an outer outlet for dispensing the first flowable product. An adapter sleeve is assembled to the fitment. A hollow dispensing spout is inserted into the inner container, through the inner outlet, and defines an open outlet. A threaded closing cap is connected to the adapter sleeve and includes a plug portion for closing off the open outlet of the dispensing spout.

  • Patent number: 7445136
Abstract: A valve includes a shell defining a space and an aperture through which gas can go into the space. A tube is movable in the space of the shell between a first position for opening the aperture of the shell and a second position for closing the aperture of the shell. The tube includes a tunnel defined therein and an internal annular flange formed on the wall of the tunnel. A seal is located between the tube and the shell. A spring is compressed between the tube and the shell. A core is located in the tube so as to abut the internal annular flange of the tube in the first position of the tube. A rod is formed on a closed end of the space of the shell so as to push the core from the internal annular flange of the tube in the second position of the tube.
