  • Patent number: 4706810
Abstract: This invention provides an inexpensive and easily manufactured console system for small boats. The system permits electronic instruments to be attractively carried and displayed in the boat in such a manner that the instruments can be continuously monitored, easily operated, protected from damage from water and movement due to high seas, and conveniently removed from the console and easily and safely transported from the boat for safekeeping when the boat is left unattended. The system includes equipment carrier modules within which electronic instruments are fastened and carried and a module-receiving liner for supporting the modules and the equipment in the boat. The system is adapted so that a single releasable fastener may secure each module within the liner, permitting the modules and the equipment to be easily removved from the boat as a unit. The modules are designed so that two modules with equipment can be easily transported with one hand.

  • Patent number: 4705163
Abstract: A cake holder uses an advantageous arrangement whereby flanges from the cover may be secured into slots in the base. The cover and base are each integral pieces of plastic. Resilience of the flanges on the cover causes them to press against a surface of handles which project out from the base so as to prevent the cover from becoming accidentally separated from the base.

  • Patent number: 4687096
Abstract: A container for holding accessories of the type used in playing the game of golf. The container has a base member that is subdivided into a plurality of small compartments for retaining golf balls and a larger compartment or tray member that may hold car keys or other items. A flange is formed around the perimeter of the tray member, and apertures larger in diameter than the diameter of a tee body but smaller in diameter than a tee head are formed in the flange so that tees may be mounted in the apertures in a suspended position. The container further includes a closure member that caps the base member and that conforms in shape to the base member. A snap fit locking arrangement is provided between the base member and the closure member.
