Most mobile apps offer their users a way to purchase coins, diamonds, tokens, or the like, which is also known as an in-app purchase. The gift card offer wall can allow the game player to purchase a gift card from a choice of vendors, and, in return, obtain the desired game currency as a bonus. The system can include three elements—the SDK for various platforms, an electronic wallet application and servers that communicate with both the SDK and the wallet application. The SDK is something that the app publisher can add to their own mobile application that will launch the gift card offer wall for the user.

For each anomaly in the set of anomalies, an informativeness value is computed that indicates how informative each anomaly in the set of anomalies is to the monitoring system user. The correlation values and the informativeness values are then used to identify at least one key anomaly and a plurality of non-key anomalies from the set of anomalies. A summary is generated of the identified at least one key anomaly to provide information to the monitoring system user about the set of anomalies for a particular time period.

Abstract: As described herein, a collaborative filtering system, method, and computer program provide a model used to calculate ranked predictions for subscribers. In use, data is received which correlates subscribers of a service provider with offers provided to the subscribers by the service provider, wherein each correlation is associated in the data with an indication of whether the offer was accepted by the subscriber. From the data, a plurality of unique correlations between subscribers and offers are determined. An implicit ranking is calculated for each unique correlation, based on the associated indication of acceptance for correlations matching the unique correlation. Input data is generated that includes each unique correlation with the implicit ranking calculated for the unique correlation. The input data is processed utilizing a collaborative filtering algorithm to generate a model configured to provide predicted implicit rankings for new correlations between subscribers and offers.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for cognitive rewards recognition in a mobile wallet of a user. A cognitive rewards recognition software application installed in the mobile wallet for each purchase opportunity: determines payment options and associated rewards; determines cognitive factors linking and relating the user, the payment options, and the rewards to purchases; and generates a ranked list of the payment options in response to the cognitive factors, wherein the rewards are distributed between purchases to maximize benefits to the user in response to the related cognitive factors. Abstract: Methods and systems for creating demographic profiles of mobile communication network users. A demographic classification system analyzes network traffic, so as to estimate the specific combination of application classes installed on a given terminal, and usage patterns of the applications over time. This combination of application classes and their respective usage patterns are a highly personalized choice made by the user, and is therefore used by the system to deduce the user's demographic profile. The demographic classification system operates on monitored network traffic, as opposed to obtaining explicit and accurate information regarding the installed applications from the terminal. The system then deduces the demographic profile of the user from the list of estimated application classes.

Abstract: For an input image of a person, a set of object proposals are generated in the form of bounding boxes. A pose detector identifies coordinates in the image corresponding to locations on the person's body, such as the waist, head, hands, and feet of the person. A convolutional neural network receives the portions of the input image defined by the bounding boxes and generates a feature vector for each image portion. The feature vectors are input to one or more support vector machine classifiers, which generate an output representing a probability of a match with an item. The distance between the bounding box and a joint associated with the item is used to modify the probability. The modified probabilities for the support vector machine are then compared with a threshold and each other to identify the item.

Abstract: To improve monetization of electronic advertisement placement, a profile owner company operates an automatic system for identifying media properties that have interests in specific profiles or profiles of a specified category or kind. The profile owner recognizes a collected visitor profile as one that a media property has previously requested or one that is within a category that a media property has previously requested and arranges for the visitor to be tagged with a tag readable by the media property that requested such a profile. The media property can use the tag in displaying customized advertising to the visitor. Using information received from the media property, the profile owner company then records usage of the profile by the media property.

In one example, a method includes receiving, via near field communication (NFC), a co-branded electronic certificate and an electronic payment card to conduct a wireless purchase transaction for at least one good or service. The goal data comprises a description of a physical activity for traveling to a location of a retailer within a time goal. The goal data includes a reward to be provided to the user for completing the physical activity within the time goal. User data is received from the user device. The user data includes data from an activity monitor and geolocation data. Based on the user data, a determination is made as to whether the user has completed the physical activity within the time goal. When the determination is made that the user has completed the physical activity within the time goal, the reward is provided to the user.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for selecting and delivering an electronic value certificate to a mobile device are disclosed. According to one aspect, the method includes utilizing a certificate selection device to generate electronic certificate selection information and providing the electronic certificate selection information and associated recipient data to a merchant server. From the merchant server, electronic value certificate data derived from the certificate selection information is received. The method also includes establishing a communications link with a mobile device corresponding to the recipient data. The electronic value certificate data is provisioned on the mobile device over the communications link via over the air (OTA) communications.
