Abstract: A structural product fabricated from waste materials and a method for making the product. The product includes fly ash, cellulose-based material and an adhesive binder. The product advantageously has good strength with light weight, can be sawed or hammered like wood and is substantially resistant to fire. The composition is particularly useful for forming structural products such as bricks, panels, roof shingles, studs and the like.
