Abstract: An insect repellent/insecticide starts with a main composition that is composed of the three primary essential oils of eucalyptus, citronella, and pine. A number of secondary essential oils can be added that provide additional beneficial characteristics, depending upon the application. A safe embedded tick “remove and kill” product includes a basic pH adjuster that is added to the main composition in an amount sufficient to adjust the pH of the main composition to approximately between 6.4 and 7.4, and preferably equal to about 6.5. A repellent spray dilutes the main composition in water to about 1% concentration by volume and a sufficient amount of a basic pH adjuster is added thereto to adjust the pH of the main composition to approximately between 6.4 and 7.4, and preferably equal to about 6.5. Soap includes the main composition combined with a detergent, glycerin, and a sufficient amount of an acidic pH adjuster to adjust the pH of the soap composition to approximately between 6.4 and 7.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel use of herbal extracts in a pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of nephritis and, more particularly, to a pharmaceutical composition and a health functional food for prevention and/or treatment of nephritis that contains at least one herbal extract selected from the group consisting of a Crataegi Fructus extract, a Cinnamomi Cortex extract, a Prunella Spica extract, and an Equiseti Herba extract, a method for prevention and/or treatment of nephritis using the herbal extract, and a use of the herbal extract in preparation of a composition for prevention and/or treatment of nephritis. The herbal extract has a good therapeutic effect for nephritis on a nephritis model of which the nephritis is induced by a drug such as gentamicin, cisplatin, etc., and a good inhibitory activity on the growth of mesangial cells in kidneys, thereby providing a very useful means for prevention and/or treatment of nephritis.

Abstract: A natural product energy drink is provided, which synergistically aids in (1) function of the heart, (2) energy production, such as in muscles, and/or (3) enhances removal of toxic free radicals. For example, the natural product energy drink enhances function of the heart, by the use of CoQ10; enables the body to produce more energy through enhanced efficiency of the Krebs cycle, such as by use of L-carnitine; and aids in the removal of waste and/or toxins produced in the body, such as by providing anti-oxidants. Hence, the energy drink synergistically optimizes the heart, muscles, and toxin removal at the same time, which allows the user to prolong duration of exercise, increase intensity of exercise, and recover faster. The natural product, which provides nutrients, is an energy drink that optionally contains no caffeine or sugar while retaining efficacy.
