  • Patent number: 11193956
Abstract: A sampling oscilloscope includes a trigger generation circuit that includes a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) that outputs a trigger clock input in an operable frequency range at an arbitrary output frequency, a band pass filter (BPF) that limits a pass band of the trigger clock output from the direct digital synthesizer and a variable frequency divider that divides a frequency of the trigger clock of which the pass band is limited by the band pass filter, and generates a strobe signal of a frequency at which a sampler can be operated. The sampling oscilloscope includes a controller that calculates a phase shift amount with reference to a pattern cycle of data generated by a one-time strobe signal and adjusts a phase by changing a count value of a phase accumulator of the direct digital synthesizer so that the calculated phase shift amount is eliminated.

  • Patent number: 11150181
Abstract: A system and method for encapsulating commercially significant attributes of a hydrocarbon product into a single digital signature are presented. The digital signature may be generated from a physical product sample using optical techniques such as NIR spectroscopy. Digital signatures may be expressed in the form of composition, principle components derived from the spectra, or other properties derived from the original spectra which characterize, and help visualize, the variation present within the signals. Other physical property measurements and contaminant measurements may also be included in the digital signature and may be derived from the same measurement device or separate measurement devices whose output is integrated into a single digital signature. Embodiments of the invention may be used to confirm the identity of a hydrocarbon product, or to verify the composition of a hydrocarbon product.

  • Patent number: 11138090
Abstract: Techniques for training and evaluating seasonal forecasting models are disclosed. In some embodiments, a network service generates, in memory, a set of data structures that separate sample values by season type and season space. The set of data structures may include a first set of clusters corresponding to different season types in the first season space and a second set of clusters corresponding to different season types in the second season space. The network service merges two or more clusters the first set and/or second set of clusters. Clusters from the first set are not merged with clusters from the second set. After merging the clusters, the network service determines a trend pattern for each of the remaining clusters in the first and second set of clusters. The network service then generates a forecast for a metric of a computing resource based on the trend patterns for each remaining cluster.

  • Patent number: 11118937
Abstract: Described is a system for adaptive calibration of a sensor of an inertial measurement unit. Following each sensor measurement, the system performs automatic calibration of a multi-axis sensor. A reliability of a current calibration is assessed. If the current calibration is reliable, then bias and scale factor values are updated according to the most recent sensor measurement, resulting in updated bias and scale factor values. If the current calibration is not reliable, then previous bias and scale factor values are used. The system causes automatic calibration of the multi-axis sensor using either the updated or previous bias and scale factor values.

  • Patent number: 11113337
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for imputing sensor data, in a sensor data sequence with missing data based on the semantics learning, where semantics is defined by the constraints of the sensor data features. A candidate value for imputation is determined based on sensor data of corresponding instances of time instants of the sensor data sequence using learning based on semantics of features of the sensor data sequence with missing data. The nearest neighbors search has been applied in similar response data sequence using the data values corresponding to the time instant of missing data in sensor data sequence. In case similar response data sequence is not available imputation is performed based on the distribution pattern of missing data.
