  • Patent number: 11043171
Abstract: An anti-flicker and motion-blur improvement method includes selecting one of display modes, obtaining a vertical synchronization signal and a data clock signal, and setting waveforms of a backlight driving signal in a vertical blanking interval and a data scan interval according to the display mode to make a motion blur effect correspond to the display mode. A voltage regulation signal is generated according to the display mode. A duty cycle of the voltage regulation signal is set as a first duty cycle in a dynamic image display mode. The duty cycle of the voltage regulation signal is set as a second duty cycle in a still image display mode. A backlight driving current corresponding to the backlight driving signal is generated via the voltage regulation signal. A current setting port generates a constant current. • Patent number: 11018205
Abstract: Provided is an organic light emitting display module including an active area, a pad area, and a boundary area between the active area and the pad area. Unlike the active area and the pad area, since the boundary area does not include an inorganic layer, less stress is applied to the boundary area when the boundary area is bent. Display panel pads and touch sensing member pads are disposed at the same height without having a height difference therebetween. Thus, a dummy pad may be added to remove the height difference between the display panel pads and the touch sensing member pads.

  • Patent number: 11009716
Abstract: Optimizations are provided for facilitating an improved transition between a real-world environment and a virtual reality environment. Initially, use of a HMD is detected and one or more real-world physical objects within a threshold proximity to the HMD are identified. Subsequently, a replicated environment, which includes virtual representations of the real-world physical object(s), is obtained and rendered in a virtual reality display. The replicated environment is transitioned out of view and a VR environment is subsequently rendered in the virtual reality display. In some instances, rendering of virtual representations of real-world physical objects into the VR environment occurs is response to detected triggering event.

  • Patent number: 11003294
Abstract: A touch screen controller (TSC) performs mutual capacitance sensing to acquire touch strength values from a touch matrix formed by capacitively intersecting drive and sense lines. For each sense line, the TSC sums the touch strength values associated therewith to form an emulated value for that sense line, and applies a weighting thereto, the weighting based upon a position of that sense line compared to a location on the touch matrix adjacent which a user's ear is expected to be placed. For each drive line, the TSC sums the touch strength values associated therewith to form an emulated value for that drive line, and applies a weighting thereto, the weighting based upon a position of that drive line compared to the location on the touch matrix adjacent which the user's ear is expected to be placed. The TSC determines presence of the user's based upon the emulated values.
