  • Patent number: 10208643
Abstract: A particulate matter detection apparatus includes a particulate matter quantity detection means, a temperature detection means that detects the temperature of exhaust gas, a control unit and a heating means. The particulate matter quantity detection means includes a particulate matter deposition portion that deposits thereon part of particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas emitted from an internal combustion engine and a pair of opposite electrodes arranged apart from each other on the particulate matter deposition portion. The control unit determines a deposition quantity of the particulate matter on the particulate matter deposition portion based on an electrical signal outputted by the particulate matter quantity detection means and receives information on the temperature of the exhaust gas detected by the temperature detection means. The control unit controls the heating means to heat the particulate matter deposition portion to 300° C.-800° C. during a cold start of the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 10189286
Abstract: A conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance roller, a conveyance motor, a back tension roller, a conveyance speed detector, a brake, and a controller. The controller is configured to: based on a conveyance speed of a web detected by the conveyance speed detector, control a value of a drive control parameter of the conveyance motor such that the conveyance speed of the web is equal to a target speed; and, based on an output torque of the conveyance motor corresponding to the value of the drive control parameter, adjust a braking force of the brake applied to the back tension roller which applies a tension to the web such that the tension of the web is equal to a target tension.

  • Patent number: 10180452
Abstract: A test tool for a low voltage devices is described. The test tool comprises a voltage sensor, a current sensor, a diode sensor, a testing module, and an indicator. The voltage sensor determines a voltage between a first and second electrical wire from an alternating current (AC) transformer. The current sensor determines a current between the first and second electrical wires. The diode sensor determines a presence of a diode connected to the first and second electrical wires based on the current and the voltage. The testing module identifies one or more installation diagnostics related to a device to be coupled with the AC transformer. The indicator generates a visual or audible indicator corresponding to the one or more installation diagnostics.
