  • Patent number: 9926917
Abstract: Society today is heavily dependent on electricity for everyday life. There are many different types of electrical generators. The present invention uses the concept of a conventional swing to produce electricity. On a conventional swing, humans are the prime movers, keeping the swing in motion by body movements and pumping the legs. The present invention produces rotation in a generator by operating a prime mover that mimics these human movements on a conventional swing. In the present invention, a mechanized prime Mover, in human form, takes the place of a person's body movements to keep the swing in motion.

  • Patent number: 9863397
Abstract: A machine for generating power by rotating metal pinwheels via hydraulic and gravitational forces. The metallic pinwheel structure is made from six to eight metal embedded projectiles projecting 20 feet outward from a closed metallic circular pool structure. Metallic pinwheel structures are installed on a seven inch perforated metal pipe that acts as an axle. A 150 gal tank filled with any fluid provides the fuel source for the motor. A water pump circulates the fluid through out the closed piping network with out any fluid loss. Barrel structures attached to the ends of the projectiles are top filled by the pumped fluids. The Fluid filled barrels become heavy when filled and exert downward forces with the assistance of gravity rotating the pinwheel structure. While the pinwheel structure is rotating a wired transmission and motor wired near the axle connects to a generator producing power.

  • Patent number: 9835182
Abstract: A drive system with multiple hydraulic cylinders applying torque to the drive shaft of a machine. Each cylinder is attached at one end to the frame of the machine by a clevis that pivots and the other end is rotationally connected to a shaft fixed to a crank arm, fixed to the drive shaft. Each cylinder either pushes or pulls-the crank arm shaft producing torque on the drive shaft in the form of a moment about centerline. As the drive shaft rotates, each cylinder alternately pushes and pulls on the crank arm shaft, depending on the rotational position of the crank arm with respect to the cylinders. The direction of force applied by each hydraulic cylinder is determined by an electro/hydraulic direction control valve, driven by a programmable logic controller, using a signal from a sensor to detect the rotational position of the drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 9816487
Abstract: An integrated axis wind turbine system is provided. The system includes a support tower on which is mounted a turbine whose nacelle comprises of drive train consisting of a horizontally aligned main shaft and an associated a set of horizontal shafts at different elevations which transfer rotary motion from a set of blades and which culminates in electricity generation. When the set of blades rotate at an angular speed exceeding a predefined threshold, excess torque is transmitted by a right angle transmission, via a Continuously Variable Transmission, to a vertically aligned central shaft which is coupled to a second turbine's set of blades whose rotary motion also culminates in electricity generation. The angle of attack of wind on the secondary set of blades is adjusted by a blade positioning system. By the integrated operation of the two turbines, the operational capacity of the combined system is increased.

  • Patent number: 9797372
Abstract: The invention provides a vertical axis wind turbine to produce power relative to wind speed resulting in high torque output. During operation, all the blades of the turbine are in a continuous movement of changing their angles from fully open to fully overlap position during each rotation. At the heart of this concept is a frame circumventing the rotor, formed of a pair of top coaxial rings superimposed over bottom coaxial rings defining a central vertical axis distant from the shaft axis, each pair of top and bottom rings are freely movable by being mounted on bushings to the shaft by radially disposed beams and vertically disposed mounting members fixedly connecting the top and bottom rings. The Blade angle relative to incoming wind is controlled by these pair of rings which are controlled by the pair of weathervanes rotating on the central turbine shaft axis.

  • Patent number: 9772168
Abstract: A glove that is worn on the fingers which is capable of being immediately activated, such as through use of a voice-activation system, to provide a non-lethal electrical discharge upon contact with an individual being apprehended, thereby temporarily disabling the individual. The glove has pins on two or more finger portions, and each pin is made from a piece of flat spring metal stamped into a concaved shape. When these come into contact with the person being apprehended, an electric charge is discharged, temporarily paralyzing the body with high voltage electricity. There is a step up circuit with different activation levels, which is voice-controlled. The system also has wireless data storage capabilities, storing glove usage information on a cloud or server. The glove can be used by law enforcement, security, or military personnel for self-defense, to subdue an attacker or to gain greater leverage in a hostile physical situation.

  • Patent number: 9741857
Abstract: New, distinct, and useful architectures for single-legged SOI-MOS were established and fabricated for the very first time. They incorporated into their architectures an innovative new configuration to wire the device Body to the Body-Tied-Source. This new configuration drastically increased the conductance between the Body and the Body-Tied-Source. This consequently allowed these devices to effectively support much higher operating biases. Same configuration also functioned on structures with very large peripheries. These gave proportional increase in this same conductivity, and for same area-efficiency, with the increase of their peripheries to accommodate higher currents. The functional model that governs this proportional scaling in these new architectures for single-legged SOI-MOS devices was established and is being claimed through this patent for the very first time.

  • Patent number: 9715966
Abstract: A supercapacitor, principally ceramic, with a fast recharging rate and extremely high energy density. Energy densities can exceed 9.5 KW-hr/L (0.27 MW-hr/ft3). High permittivity, high voltage breakdown and nanoporous electrodes achieve these features. High permittivity is reached through a ceramic dielectric consisting of a titanium oxide variant, doped with various combinations of trivalent positive ions. Example: (Al0.5Nb0.5)0.5%Ti99.5%O2. The dielectric permittivity is further increased by adding layers of conductive island matrices placed in the dielectric. Charge capacity is expanded by use of nanoporous electrodes with an effective area over twenty times a flat surface electrode. Example: graphene. The key process involves sintering wafers, adding conductive island matrices' conductors, typically vacuum impregnating wafers with a polymer, then stacking wafers and electrodes, followed by connecting electrodes. Subassemblies are then stacked into unlimitedly larger macro-assemblies.

  • Patent number: 9712031
Abstract: A system for propelling craft which is applicable in any environment. It employs an alternating magnetic field supplied by a coil. A parallel plate capacitor is situated so that the flux of the magnetic field flows between the plates of the capacitor. The capacitor is charged and discharged in synchronization with the alternating magnetic field. The changing magnetic field creates an electric field that applies a force to the charge in the plates which is then transferred to the body of the device. Any induced reactive electric force on the coil affects equally the protons and electrons in the wires of the coil creating the magnetic field, thus the force is non-reactive. At the same time, the changing electric field in the capacitor creates a magnetic field. The current in the coils and/or the surface current in the ferromagnetic material (if present) experiences a force from the magnetic field.
