  • Patent number: 11367393
Abstract: Provided are a display panel, a driving method thereof and a display device. The display panel includes a substrate, multiple sub-pixels located on one side of the substrate, and at least one signal conversion circuit. Each sub-pixel includes a pixel driving circuit and a light-emitting element. The pixel driving circuit includes an initialization transistor and a driving transistor. A first electrode of the initialization transistor is electrically connected to a gate of the driving transistor. The signal conversion circuit may convert a received initialization signal to a first initialization signal or convert the initialization signal to a second initialization signal according to a received data control signal, and generate an output of the conversion to the second electrode of the initialization transistor. This can avoid an unstable gate voltage of the driving transistor caused by a leakage current, further improve the display effect.

  • Patent number: 11355043
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a display device including pixels arranged in rows and columns, where duty cycles of the pixels are dynamically programmed according to eye tracking information. For a display frame, the display device may determine a gaze region and a non-gaze region based on the eye tracking information. A control circuit of the display device controls a first subset of pixels in the gaze region to operate with a first duty cycle and controls a second subset of pixels in the non-gaze region to operate with a second duty cycle greater than the first duty cycle. The first subset of pixels emits light with greater brightness than the second subset of pixels.

  • Patent number: 11275475
Abstract: A compliant material, such as a conductive foam, is positioned in the dielectric or capacitive gap between drive and sense electrodes and/or other conductive elements of a capacitive and/or other force sensor, such as a TFT or other display element and a sensor assembly. The compliant material prevents damage by preventing and/or cushioning contact. The compliant material may be conductive. By being conductive and being positioned between the electrodes while still being separated from one or more of the electrodes, the compliant material also shortens the effective electrical distance between the electrodes. As a result, the force sensor may be more sensitive than would otherwise be possible while being less vulnerable to damage.

  • Patent number: 11256336
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are for an interaction mode system that provides multiple interaction modes in an artificial reality environment with automatic, context-specific transitions between interaction modes. An interaction mode can specify how the interaction mode system determines direction indications and movement within an artificial reality environment and interactions for making selections or performing other actions. In some implementations, the interaction mode system can control at least four interaction modes including a no-hands, 3DoF mode, a no-hands, 6DoF mode, a gaze and gesture mode, and a ray casting mode. The interaction mode system can employ a mapping of interaction mode context factors (e.g., which components are enabled, mode settings, lighting or other environment conditions, current body positions, etc.) to interaction modes to control transitioning between particular interaction modes.
