Abstract: According to various systems and methods, financial indicators may be used as random number generators to determine variables, such as numbers and cards, for various games, including casino-style games like roulette and poker. Players may place wagers relating to one or more game variables, such as one or more cards, hands, a roulette wheel spin, a lottery number, or other variable or outcome of a game. After bets are received, one or more random numbers may be determined based on one or more financial indicators, such as a least significant digit of the price or value of a financial instrument, index, or financial metric at a specific time. The random number(s) may be used to determine game variables, such as a winning lottery number, slot reel values, or numbers and suits of cards dealt. In some embodiments, players may select one or more financial instruments or indicators that will be used to resolve one or more game variables.

Abstract: A method comprises initiating a gaming session for a grid-based game, tracking a number of consecutive losing plays of the grid-based game during the gaming session, and providing a player of the grid-based game with an option to reuse a wild symbol that appears in one play of the number of consecutive losing plays in a next play when the number of consecutive losing plays exceeds a threshold. The method further comprises receiving first input from the player to reuse the wild symbol in the next play, generating, in response to the first input, a sequence of symbols comprising the wild symbol, and causing a display to display the sequence of symbols populated in the array of cells.

The information that is communicated from electronic devices is communicated to the magician/performer through visual and haptic feedback.

Abstract: A gaming device may perform various electronic games, such as a keno game, and may include a game controller configured to control operations of the performed electronic games. During the course of a game performed on the gaming device, the game controller may control various winning scenarios, including alternate winning scenarios. At certain stages in a keno game, a number of markers may be selected. Before, after, or while these markers are selected, the game controller may determine how many bonus markers will be selected. Based on the number of selected bonus markers, the game controller may initiate a bonus draw phase where an additional number of markers may be selected. After all markers have been selected, any selected bonus markers may be added together and the calculated sum may be added to a credit balance associated with a player of the gaming device.

A first one of the subsets is divided into qualifying tickets and non-qualifying tickets, the qualifying tickets eligible for play in an additional game having a game prize at least equal to the top tier prize. The qualifying and/or non-qualifying tickets are provided with a printed mark that distinguishes the qualifying tickets from the non-qualifying tickets within the first subset. At redemption, the qualifying tickets are identified and entered into the additional game.

Some example systems include scatter prize indicators that are each associated with different symbol positions of a game of chance. When a scatter symbol is selected for a given symbol position, the scatter prize indicator associated therewith may be upgraded; selection of a sufficient number of symbol positions may result in a feature game mode being activated. During feature game mode play, scatter symbols are retained after each play of the game until either sufficient consecutive plays occur without any scatter symbols being obtained or until all symbol positions have scatter symbols. In the latter case, the scatter prize indicators are upgraded and play continues. In the former case, the feature game mode concludes.
