The football training device trains an individual in the motions associated with a swim move. The football training device further trains an individual in the motions associated with a rip move. The football training device incorporates a stand and a training structure. The training structure attaches to the stand. The training structure further incorporates a plurality of cants. The plurality of cants form a series of spatial relationships between the components of the training structure. The plurality of cants emulate the position and motion of an opponent during training activities.

Abstract: A basketball gaming system may comprise at least one basketball hoop and at least one goal placement analyzer configured to adjust at least one position parameter of one or more of the at least one basketball hoops according to at least one user parameter associated with at least one user. The basketball gaming system may further comprise at least one hoop placement system configured to position the at least one basketball hoop according to the at least one position parameter. The at least one position parameter may comprise at least one x-axis coordinate, at least one y-axis coordinate, and at least one z-axis coordinate. The basketball gaming system may further comprise at least one hoop switching mechanism configured to select one or more of the at least one basketball hoops. At least one position parameter of the selected one or more basketball hoops is associated with an active status.

Abstract: A soccer training device and system includes a generally horizontal and planar platform and at least one sloped soccer ball collection trough provided generally around a perimeter of the platform. A segmented cage is provided generally at and around outer bounds of, and vertically above, the platform. At least one sensored gate includes at least one soccer ball impact curtain provided above the at least one soccer ball collection trough to direct soccer balls into the trough, and at least one arrangement of sensors to sense presence of the soccer balls that are impacting the at least one curtain. A ball thrower sequentially receives the soccer balls from the silo, to sequentially deliver the soccer balls to a player on the platform. A control panel and a control box control operation of the soccer training device and system.

Abstract: A baseball swing training apparatus that is configured to teach a player an optimal combination of three independent swing path angles wherein the apparatus further provides training for the three swing path angles for balls in alternate locations within a batter strike zone. The present invention includes a base platform that has four wheel assemblies operable to provide omnidirectional movement of the base platform. Secured to the upper surface of the base platform is the lift assembly. The lift assembly includes three arm members that are independently movable with separate motor and gear assemblies. A ball retention member is secured to the lift assembly wherein a swing path angle adjustment assembly is operably intermediate the ball retention assembly and the lift assembly. The swing path angle adjustment assembly includes a first, second and third axis movement assemblies each being independently adjustable.

Abstract: A base or similar structure utilized in playing a sport is provided including a top base structure including a number of bores formed therein and an insert including an upper surface having a number of studs thereon engageable with the bores, and a lower surface including a number of posts thereon. The posts extend outwardly from the insert to securely engage the ground against horizontal or lateral forces exerted on the base.

Abstract: A batting tee system that can be used to both tee a ball for batting and retrieve balls on the ground. As balls are retrieved, the balls are automatically positioned for use in batting. The batting tee system uses a tube body having an interior and an open first end of a first diameter. An expandable constraint is disposed at the first end. The expandable constraint defines a secondary opening that can be selectively altered between a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter, and a third diameter that is larger than the first diameter. A mechanical activator is used to alter the secondary opening of the expandable constraint between the second diameter and the third diameter. This controls the passage of balls out of the tube body.

Abstract: A portable pitching mound with a plurality of mound sections. The plurality of mound sections are assembled by inserting a lower edge of one mound section into a receiving slot of another mound section. The configuration of the receiving slot forms an opening larger than the lower edge of the mound section to be received therein. The larger size of the opening allows the lower to be positioned anywhere above the opening of the receiving slot and upon lowering the weight of the mound section and gravity causes the lower edge to slide downwards and towards the adjoining mound section. Assembly does not require any tools or connection members such as screws, bolts, clamps, clasps, pins, adherent or adhesive surfaces, or the like.

Abstract: A freestanding basketball backstop assembly returns basketballs shot at a basketball hoop to a player positioned at a location spaced apart from the basketball hoop. A net support has a base and side legs, with vertical rods removably insertable into sockets of the side legs and threaded through sleeves extending from the side edges of the net peripheral border. The base is placed in front of the post supporting the basketball backboard. In one embodiment, the net is arranged behind the post supporting the backboard, and a slit opening in the bottom periphery of the net receives a portion of the post supporting the backboard. In other embodiments, the net remains in front of the post supporting the backboard, and the vertical rods are set variably to place the net in different angle orientations so that the assembly may be used either as a backstop assembly, or as a defender barrier in front of the basketball basket or as a barrier or practice net for other sports.

In the retracted position the plurality of elongate support members is located substantially below a surface level of the sports field, and in the extended position and with the tensile members attached to or supporting the cover, the elongate support members elevate the flexible resilient planar material above the sports field.

The SBTML further comprises a base, a plurality of wheels attached to a lower surface of the base, and an upright post that extends up from the base. The SBTML further comprises a lifting bar that is pivotably connected to an upper portion of the upright post. The SBTML further comprises a lifting device configured to cause the lifting bar to lift the rod. The lifting device includes a mechanical jack or an electric actuator.

Abstract: A tackle training apparatus includes a padded body member and two padded elongate leg members in which each leg member has a first end for abutting the body member and a second end for contacting the ground. The two leg members are arranged in relation to the body member to extend from and to be resiliently movable relative to and/or separable from the body member, and in one configuration where the second end of each of the two leg members is placed on the ground, the two leg members can support the body member such that the apparatus is in a standing position, provides an effective training apparatus for improvements in collisions and especially tackles in rugby. Use of the apparatus facilitates improvement in point of contact, height of approach, grip technique and grip strength.

The tackling bag is attached to the rolling mechanism and configured to be propelled from one of the pair of support members toward the other of the pair of support members. The pulley device is coupled to the rolling mechanism and attached to the tackling bag. The pulley device is separated from the cable when the tackling bag is propelled from the one of the pair of support members toward the other of the pair of support members.

In some embodiments, a system comprises a flag and a wearable item, wherein the flag and the wearable item are configured such that a magnetic attachment force exerted between a first connector and a second connector attaches the flag to the wearable item. In some embodiments, a set comprises one or more flags and one or more wearable items, wherein an adjustable magnetic attachment force attaching the flags and wearable items is adjusted by replacing one or more magnetic components. In some embodiments, a system comprising a flag and a wearable item is configured to detect that contact between a first connector and a second connector has been broken and to automatically indicate a location associated with the contact being broken.

Abstract: An apparatus for a ball bat and a ball bat comprising at least one disc member that defines an outer diameter corresponding to an inner diameter defined by the ball bat to create a fit within close proximity between the at least one disc member and the ball bat. The at least one disc member can be located within the barrel portion of the ball bat. The at least one disc member can include at least one solid disc member that is located within a sweet spot of the ball bat. In some embodiments, the apparatus for a ball bat and the ball bat can further include an at least one insulation foam member. The at least one insulation foam member can separate the at least one disc member. The at least one insulation foam member can define a hollow center portion.

Abstract: A user interface includes a plurality of pass receipt locations rendered at spaced positions on or adjacent to the rendering of a three-point line to correspond with pass receipt locations on a basketball playing surface. Each pass receipt location is individually and directly selected by physical touch to define a custom basketball practice arrangement which is programmed into a control system to cause an ejector mounted to a frame to launch at least one basketball to each selected location.
