The mobile device includes a touch screen having a first area and a second area. The method includes receiving, when the first and second areas are locked during a phone call state of the mobile device, an input function activation signal, and displaying, in the second area, an interface comprising a plurality of operation keys related to the phone call state, according to the received input function activation signal.

Abstract: Provided are a mobile terminal capable of capturing an image and a control method thereof. The mobile terminal includes: a display unit configured to output an automatic scrap icon and a manual scrap icon for selecting first screen information and partial screen information included in the first screen information; and a control unit configured to, in response to a preset touch input applied to the automatic scrap icon, extract meta data regarding the first screen information, select partial screen information included in the first screen information on the basis of the extracted meta data, generate second screen information including the selected partial screen information, and control the display unit to output the generated second screen information.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and method for receiving and processing user inputs with respect to hybrid computing applications. For example, systems and methods described herein involve detecting one or more user inputs of a touch gesture provided by a user and selectively channeling the one or more user inputs to a non-native element of the hybrid application or a native element of the hybrid application. In particular, the systems and method involve selectively channeling user inputs of touch gestures to prevent instances of input ambiguity with respect to interacting with a graphical user interface associated with the hybrid application.

Abstract: Various aspects of a system and method for communication of a message to a vehicle are disclosed herein. The system comprises one or more circuits in an electronic control unit (ECU) of a first vehicle that is communicatively coupled to a display device. The one or more circuits in the ECU are configured to receive a video stream and control display of a plurality of image frames in the video stream on the display device. Vehicle information of one or more vehicles, included in an image frame of the plurality of image frames, is received from the one or more vehicles via a wireless network. A first input corresponding to a selection of a vehicle from the one or more vehicles included in the image frame, is received. Vehicle information associated with the selected vehicle is identified. A second input that corresponds to a selection of an information item to be communicated to the selected vehicle, is received. The selected information item is communicated to the selected vehicle.

Abstract: In an example implementation, a method of providing multi-gesture input on a touchscreen device includes sensing a finger gesture at a touchscreen initiation area. In response to sensing the finger gesture, images of a user's eye are captured and an eye-tracking function is initiated to determine eye motion and an end gaze point of the user's eye from the images. The method includes sensing a release of the finger gesture and activating a device function associated with the end gaze point of the user's eye.

Abstract: A temporal layer containing personalization markers (e.g., placemarks) created by a user at a given time (or time period), can be combined with map imagery, allowing the user (or other users) to show only the personalization markers contained in the temporal layer. Temporal layers can be of arbitrary temporal or geographical size, fully or partially overlapping in time or space, split into smaller temporal layers, logically aligned or combined and/or continuous or non-continuous in time or space. Temporal layers can be stored in a repository where they can be searched and used by others. Temporal layers can be associated with search services (e.g., news search) or search histories (e.g., automatic temporal layers based on search history). A user's personal profile can be compared with other users' personal profiles and the results of the comparison can be used to recommend temporal layers. Advertisements can be associated with temporal layers.

Abstract: A graphical user interface for creating a data summary table includes a field pane including a list of a plurality of fields, and a layout pane including a plurality of zones. The zones represent areas of the data summary table, and the layout pane allows a field of the plurality of fields from the field pane to be added to a first zone of the zones. A data summary table is updated upon the field being added to the layout pane.

Abstract: Systems, methods and articles of manufacture are disclosed for generating a webpage. In one embodiment, a request may be received from a user to view the webpage that includes portlets. A time of the request may be identified. The portlets may be provided. Based on an interaction history of the user and the identified time of the request, the portlets may be arranged on the webpage. The webpage may be output for display, in response to the request.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and a graphical user interface implementing techniques for delivering an integrated mobile graphical media presentation, including optimized compiled-content provided from at least one compiled-content source, executed in a mobile device. A technique is provided that includes generating the integrated mobile graphical media presentation. A display format for delivery of the integrated mobile graphical media presentation is determined. The technique also includes defining a second layout for the plurality of display frames of the integrated mobile graphical media presentation based on the determined display format, and displaying, based on the second layout, the selectable tiles housed by the plurality of display frames within the sub-content display window.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product provide the ability to search for and interact with three-dimensional (3D) objects in a 3D model/drawing. Searches may be conducted on a per object basis (based on properties of the object) and search queries may be amended based on shared/common attributes between objects found in an initial search. Differences in search results can be identified and the causality may be used to perform additional searches. Search results may be listed in a list view and a correspondence between objects in the list view and the modeling view may be visibly discernible. Further, selection of a single object from a search result may focus the view on such an object while removing any occluding objects. Multiple selected objects can be viewed in an array of rotationally synchronized viewports.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing a live online conference through a computer network to participant user interfaces, wherein feedback is provided to a presenter user interface based on participants revisiting prior section content of the online conference during the live online conference. In one implementation, the participant user interface receives instructions causing the participant user interface to revisit prior section content of the live online conference during the live online conference. The instructions causing participant user interfaces to revisit prior section content during the live online conference are monitored. Based on the monitoring of the instructions, a computer determines a revisiting statistic regarding the participant user interfaces revisiting the prior section content. Feedback based on the revisiting statistic is then provided to the presenter user interface.

Abstract: System, method, and computer product embodiments for proving a chart with dynamically-adjusted scale labels are described. A graphical user interface (GUI) generates a chart to display a set of data within a display area. The chart includes a plurality of x-axis scale labels to indicate a scale on the x-axis of the chart. The GUI reduces a distance between adjacent x-axis scale labels from the plurality of x-axis scale labels, responsive to detecting a command that re-renders the chart and that reduces the distance between adjacent x-axis scale labels. When the GUI determines that the distance is within a threshold, the GUI increases the distance by rotating each x-axis scale label towards a vertical orientation. Then, the GUI displays the set of data and the plurality of rotated x-axis scale labels within the chart as re-rendered according to the command.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable media for implementing a Focus-Driven User Interface using a Focus-Driven MVC architecture are described. The Focus-Driven MVC architecture builds on the traditional MVC framework, adding a Focus component between the Controller and Model components. The Focus component implements Focus Logic to handle Focus-Driven features. The Focus component may receive access commands or requests from the Controller, relay those commands to the Model and, in response, obtain data from the Model. The Focus Logic applies rules to the data, determines relevancy rankings for the given property, and sends the processed data to the Controller which, in turn, may update the user interface with the processed data.

The user interface unit generates first metadata information associated with a content frame of a first piece of content. The synchronization unit synchronizes the display of the first metadata information with the display of the content frame during content playback of said first piece of content. The first metadata information and the content frame are displayed on different devices. The content navigation control unit enables content navigation based on user interaction with the first metadata information when the first metadata information is displayed.
