Abstract: Disclosed is a method of RGBW compensation based on color aberrations of white subpixel and an apparatus thereof: when aberrations exist between a color coordinate point Ws of white subpixel and a standard white color coordinate point Wd under sRGB, analyzing color coordinates of every subpixel on the RGBW panel, and then dividing a triangle with vertices points Rs, Gs and Bs into three triangle regions based on Ws as the center point; based on ranges of the three triangle regions, a triangle region where Wd is located is confirmed; a first data is calibrated by performing compensating the white subpixel corresponding by the center point Ws via a predetermined normalized proportion through two subpixels corresponding to the other two points within the triangle region surrounding and locating Wd. Through the aforementioned manner, the present invention is capable of calibrating aberrations of white subpixels in order to normalize images of RGBW panels.

  • Patent number: 10013783
Abstract: A system and method for graphical representation of spatial data. A disclosed video display system is capable of presenting a layout of graphics objects as part of a displayed image. The system provides in the displayed image i) a first graphical representation in a first display area of a display and ii) a diagrammatic representation in a second display area. The diagrammatic representation features superimposed graphical elements that are dependent on the first graphical representation. The video display system can provide, for example, a pie chart as the first graphical representation and a map of a geographic area as the diagrammatic representation. The pie chart graphically represents, for example, a breakdown of members by organization, wherein each slice in the pie chart corresponds to a different organization. Superimposed on the map are elements of a bar chart, which is another example of a graphical representation.

  • Patent number: 9996915
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques might provide for implementing user interface validation or diagnostics, and, in particular embodiments, for implementing automated forensic artifact reconstruction and replay of captured and recorded display interface streams. In some embodiments, a computing system might retrieve stream data from a database, the stream data having been captured and recorded by a data stream recording system as display data is being sent from an embedded processor of a graphical user interface (“GUI”) system to a display device, without disturbing the display data being sent. The computing system subsequently parses pixel data from the display data, formats the parsed pixel data, reconstructs one or more display screen images based at least in part on the formatted pixel data, then compares each pixel of each screen image or frame of the reconstructed display screen images with each pixel of a model screen image of each corresponding screen image.

  • Patent number: 9972107
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed at decomposing a graphic design into constituent parts. In embodiments, a decomposition module is configured to partition pixels of a graphic design image into superpixels. This partitioning can be based on a color analysis of individual pixels of the graphic design image. Once partitioned into superpixels, the decomposition module may group the superpixels into components such that each component includes superpixels that are within a level of similarity from one another. The decomposition module can then categorize one or more of the components as textual elements of the graphic design based on text identification features of the components. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed herein.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating an interactive rotatable 360-degree presentation of an object are disclosed. The methods and systems obtain data describing the object, where the data includes information about a number of images of the object, as well as additional information about the object. The images are automatically obtained and rearranged into at least one sequence of images substantially evenly distributed around 360 degrees. It is determined whether to add hotspot(s) to image(s), and if hotspot(s) are to be added, the hotspot(s) are automatically added to the image(s). The ordered images of the sequence(s) are then merged into an interactive rotatable 360-degree presentation of the object.
