  • Patent number: 11854664
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a computer-implemented system and method for generating and searching a database containing all of the potential substructures (e.g., metabolites) of a chosen complex molecule based on minimum cleavable units (MCUs) of the chosen complex molecule, wherein each record in the generated database suitably defines the molecular weight and physical arrangement of each substructure. Embodiments of the invention also provide a user interface and a search engine for searching the database based on a query molecular weight (or query molecular weight range) to identify all of the substructures having a total molecular weight matching the query molecular weight or range. Embodiments of the invention are also capable of transmitting to a display device operated by an end user a description and/or a graphical representation of every identified substructure of the chosen complex molecule.

  • Patent number: 11846979
Abstract: Anomalies in a target object can be detected and diagnosed using improved Mahalanobis-Taguchi system (MTS) techniques. For example, an anomaly detection and diagnosis (ADD) system can receive a set of measurements associated with attributes of a target object. A Mahalanobis distance (MD) can be determined using a generalized inverse matrix. An abnormal condition can be detected when the MD is greater than a predetermined threshold value. The ADD system can determine an importance score for each measurement of a corresponding attribute. The attribute whose measurement has the highest importance score can be determined to be responsible for the abnormal condition.

  • Patent number: 11830494
Abstract: An eyewear device with camera-based compensation that improves the user experience for user's having partial blindness or complete blindness. The camera-based compensation determines features, such as objects, and then converts the determined objects to audio that is indicative of the objects and that is perceptible to the eyewear user. The camera-based compensation may use a region-based convolutional neural network (RCNN) to generate a feature map including text that is indicative of objects in images captured by a camera. The feature map is then processed through a speech to audio algorithm featuring a natural language processor to generate audio indicative of the objects in the processed images.

  • Patent number: 11815884
Abstract: Real-time quality control of a culture for bioproduction is facilitated using machine learning. In this approach, real-time process data for a set of parameters for a current production run is received. Based on this process data, a prediction is made using an instance of a machine learning model that has been trained on process data from past production or development runs. The instance is uniquely associated to a particular culture day and thus independent of any other instance of the machine learning model (for other culture days). Based on the prediction, a quality control recommendation for the current production run is then made. Several different types of predictions are enabled, and various different recommendations are provided based on the predictions.
